Hotel Puertatierra - Cádiz

Nice hotel,a little out of the way if your goal is to visit the old town. You can take a bus or a long walk...Everything was fine except for the noise in the morning. Loud hammering noise at 8:30am. when mentioned to desk clerk she simply told us that the hotel was not responsible. When I came to pay with my Master Card it did not work...The clerk made us feel cheap, had to use another card. It turned out that our card was perfectly alright and the clerk had made a mistake.She thought our card was a Diners card and not a Master Card.

Excellent location, but signposting could be better to make it easier to find hotel if you travel by car.

Staff very friendly and helpfull, location great--5 minutes from centre by excellent frequent bus service. Didnt try food or bar, so cant comment. Room was quiet and comfortable, maybe decor beginning to look just a bit tired, but that is being picky. Our room overlooked the street which was ok, but I the think the view from the back looks at not very attractive apartments. It was good value and I would recommend this hotel

Staff really very friendly. I asked to change the room (for the smoke's stink...) and they gave me a larger one for the smae price. Furthermore they were always polite, and they gave a small gift to my fiance for her birthday.

Our first stay in Cádiz. Coming by car we were very glad that the hotel had a garage. The taxidriver guided us in the old town when we should find a restaurant in the evening.

This was the best hotel stay of the five which we used during our trip to Spain. The breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were excellent. The staff are efficient and obliging. The surrounding area is ordinary but there is a convenient and cheap bus ride with a choice of two routes into the old town of Cadiz. A very restfull place to stay.

The hotel's location is great, just s few metres from the beach, there is Carrefour nearby. the only thing which i did not like is that our room did not seem to be very clean- there was napkin on the floor. there is a garage which was very convenient for us, the staff was helpful

Great location, easy walk to all the sites, lots of restaurants and cafes nearby; clean room with good amenities (hair dryer!!); helpful staff - spoke English, arranged entertainment, and called taxis

This hotel is some distance from the rail station but is conveniently placed for both buses and taxis, which stop just outside. It is situated only thity metres from the nearest beach. I was generally pleased with my visit, though the air-conditioning system did not function very well.

Close to lovely clean beach ; well sited for walking into old town and on good bus route . Very helpful staff . On busy road but excellent sound-proofing

This hotel is available for one night not to stay for hollidays. Environment is poor, the center is really at 20 mn. The beach ist very narrow but not very clean.

The staff were very efficient, spoke fluent english and dealt with all our needs. The car was parked for us and sent up when we wanted it. The cafe was good value and the Restaurant served quality food at a competitive price for Cadiz. The Cathedral and old town was about 10 minutes walk away along the sea front - an interesting place to visit with plenty to see. The country around Cadiz on the mainland is worth a visit (to north and south)if you want to drive a bit. A place to recommend.

The location of the hotel is very good, between the city centre and the beaches. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant they suggested was good.

Nice time. Excellent hotel. Excellent place near the old city ( 5 or 10 minuts walking ). Nice weather. Nice people.
