It was my first time at Hotel Rocamar but I've been to Cadaqués many times since I was a child. The hotel is great, the staff is very nice and the facilities are impressive! I would like to point out the views from the breakfast room, they are AMAZING!

In many ways a typical spanish seaside hotel (this is good). Only complaint is walls are paper thin. Fortunately couple next door were quick.

We stayed for a few days while on holiday. Cadeques was a side-trip from Barcelona. Finding the hotel itself required stopping in town and asking for directions, but once there the Rocamar staff were lovely and welcoming. There was a situation of noise that they weren't able to do anything about right away. But because they were very understanding and generous with complimentary wine, we ended up being able to wait it out and laugh about it. The restaurant service was outstanding and happy to make a special cheese tray for us, recommended a perfect wine, and delivered a perfect dinner experience. When we asked about information on the Dali House the next day the staff recommended it was worth the short drive and helped us get there ...but they forgot to tell us we needed reservations. Thankfully, we were able to get in after just a 90 minute wait. All-in-all quite a memorable and lovely stay.

We stayed at cadaques just one night, arriving in the afternoon and leaving in the evening, and were a bit disappointed we couldn't stay longer to enjoy the surroundings and everything the hotel has to offer, but we managed to sneak in a bath in the indoor pool at 9pm, before it closed at 10pm.

Very nice hotel and the restaurant is fabulous with great views as well. As noted on another review location directions are non-existent. You head for the centre of town, hit the Med, turn right and follow some very narrow, windy roads along the sea front and then inland till you reach the hotel.

We had a very poor experience at Rocamar, and elected to leave after only three nights of our originally planned seven. The air conditioner in our unit did not work properly, and was not fixed after repeated requests. When it finally came on in the middle of the night, the air coming from the vent smelled so much like sewage that we were awakened and had to turn it off. Apparently a pipe had broken somewhere in the building that was carrying sewage -- an incredibly foul smelling water was pooling in front of the building for two days. My guess is that the air intake for the air system was somewhere near the break. Our complaints were not addressed. When we checked out (four days early), the management refused to offer any discount or to take any responsibility for they problems. They went so far as to suggest that the awful smell in the room was caused by our 18-month old son, rather than the sewage break that they had. All hotels have problems from time to time -- what's important is how management deals with those problems when they happen. In this case, the Rocamar failed miserably. There are much better choices (with much better service) elsewhere in Cadaques.

A bit "Fawlty Towers", but perhaps we caught them at the wrong time. There was a lot of work going on to get ready for the season, which supposedly started the week after our brief stay. As a result, we were left feeling .. "Nice when it's finished".

The hotel was stunning - the location was perfect - just on the edge of the town with amazing views out to sae and over the bay. The pool was fine and the service good - I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

This is a lovely hotel in a very beautiful setting. Unfortunately, the walls are thin and, when we were there, the other guests were quite loud. I found it a bit expensive given the slightly shabby furnishings in the bedrooms.

Our hotel room had a wonderful sea view w/balcony. I will recommend the hotel to anyone. The staff at the front desk were wonderful. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time in Cadaques, would recommend this to any of my friends, and would stay there again.

The hotel was nice. It's a little out of town but easily walkable, and I prefer it that way, less noise I would hope. It wasn't high season yet so the hotel was mostly empty yet they seemed to put all of the guests on the floor above ours. The floors are thin enough that I could hear people just talking or watching TV above us. The place has a nice web page but would it be too much for them to draw a real map to the place? Basically you drive to the Mediterranean then take a right and wind through a tiny street that goes along the ocean then behind some building, then around back of the hotel to the front. Their map on the website didn't even tell you that much.

This hotel was good quality, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. Unfortunately the room we had was under some stairs and the noise levels were apalling from about 6 o clock in the morning.
