877-662-6988The family owned „Casa Romantica Parenzana“ is located on the „Parenzana“ an old disused Austro Hungarian railway line which once connected Trieste with Poreč. The old railway is currently under restoration as a bike trail and passes through three countries (Italy, Slovenia and Croatia).
Our location is ideal for exploring both the popular coastal resorts as well as the picturesque inland heart of Istria with its historical hilltop towns of Motovun and Grožnjan.
In our „konoba“ restaurant we offer traditional regional delicacies such as „Čripnja“ (roast meat or fish and potatoes cooked in a cast iron pot on an open hearth fire). During the season truffle are hunted locally, don't miss your chance of tasting this well known aphrodisiac from our special menu. Our cuisine culture is based on providing natural, healthy food, prepared and served in the traditional yet sophisticated way!
At „Casa Romantica Parenzana“ we offer a variety packages tailored to all tastes and requirements. For the Gurmet, visits can be arranged to the best wine cellars and restaurants in the region. For cyclists, hikers and the artist special tours can be organised to suit your needs.

Liebevoll ist das Wort, das das Casa Romantica am besten beschreibt. Ebenso liebevoll wie das Haus hergerichtet ist, wird man als Gast betreut. Wer den ganz großen - oft anonymen - Luxus oder Touristen-Mainstream sucht, ist hier sicherlich falsch. Wer aber großen Wert auf eine sehr persönliche und fast familiäre Note legt, ist goldrichtig. Unser Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich, der Service ist großartig, das Essen und die Weine sehr sehr lecker, die Atmosphäre in Haus und Garten ausgesprochen erholsam. Und obwohl wir im Urlaub normalerweise gerne verschiedene Restaurants ausprobieren, sind wir diesmal jeden Abend mit Vorfreude auf die 'Tagesspezialitäten' ins La Parenzana zurückgekehrt. So sieht erholsamer Urlaub aus!
