Queens Court is an excellent base in Budapest - easy to get your bearings, some very good staff and quiet location - even though you're in the middle of things. Could happily live there! Definitely return and recommend to others

We stayed in a 2 bedroom platinum suite which is in fact a 80 m2 appartment with all conform. The breakfast at the hotel was quite expensive (12 euro pp) so we prepared food ourselves in the kitchenette. There is a nice city Spar just around the corner; open from 6 am till 9 pm! Stepping outside the hotel, you have a nice Hungarian restaurant at the left corner where you can eat a nice meal for little money. All tickets for tourist visits can be bought at the hotel reception, they are really very helpfull. Taxi can also be arranged at the hotel reception for a fare price. Overall a very nice hotel and nice city to visit, we can really recommend it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will recommend Queen's Court to our family and friends. While we rated almost every category with a 10-rating (excellent), we gave sevices and facilities a 9 because the breakfast was so expensive, although it was beautiful.

Overall, it was a great stay. Reserved Superior room, but updgraded to room 605 -- suite with balcony. Bed was comfortable, as was everything else. I have no idea what people are complaining about the staff - -they were EXCESSIVELY wonderful. I had some problems at a local restaurant (some things stolen), but even though it wasn't the hotels problem, they went VERY far out of their way to call the police, translate, and offer any help that they could. They went well 'above and beyond' what I would expect. Otherwise, they were nice, professional and very helpful with the standard things like restaurants, reservations, taxi reservations etc.... Queens Court is not a Ritz or Four Seasons, but it is a very good upper 4* or lower 5* hotel that is a VERY good value. It is not 'prime' location, but close enough to walk downtown or anywhere else (and I have a broken toe). I didn't use the spa facilities or have breakfast there, so I cannot speak to that, but overall I would stay there again. Other random things. If you go out the hotel and take a left, and go about 5-7 blocks there is a restaurant on the left that looks upper class - and is - great food. Sorry I can't remember the name. If the weather is nice, the courtyard is a nice place to have a glass of wine and relax. Otherwise, didn't try the Chess Restaurant, but was tempted to. Internet was free and worked well. Wireless had some issues reaching the room, but the staff provided an ISBN cable and it worked great.
