Promenade City Hotel - Budapest

It was a wunderful stay in a very good hotel right in the middle of Budapest. It is situated at one of the main shopping streets on the Pest side, so everything was in walking distance - the river Danube, the many places with lovely restaurants and coffee ars you can sit in and the beautiful Parliament. The room was modern, very clean - a bit small but sufficient! The breakfast had many sorts of fresh fruits, scrambled eggs, cheese and saussages. I will definately stay at Promenade Hotel in Budapest again.

It was my 1st time in Budapest. Hotel is very well located in the pedestrian street (Váci Utca), with close access to transportation (tram and metro) and a walking distance to the Pier for a boat trip in the Danube river. Front desk people were very friendly and helpful. The cost-benefit ratio of this Hotel is excellent.

Great location and cosy little hotel with nice atmosphere. But the room was not what it was supposed to be (a twin room) but a very small single room with extra bed. Nor was there any view.

Excellent location on the main shopping street and for sightseeing as it is near a metro station at end of street.Unfortunately the noise from the elevator was very noticable in the room meaning that we were woken up at about 7:30 each morning when people started going to the breakfast room on the 6th floor.Room was a good size and very clean. Staff were friendly. View from window was of elevator shaft, as the hotel has no street frontage.

We stayed 5 nights in this hotel. It is well situated in center town, clean, modern and comfortable, with a great choice for breakfast. There is wifi in the rooms, the staff is always ready to help, we warmly recommend the Promenade City Hotel ! (just a small drawback meanwhile: a tiny room for breakfast as some other users noted).

The hotel is very nice as it's new. The layout is very nice and modern. Quite close to the metro, casino and shopping area. About 10 minutes walk to Chain Bridge. Unfortunately, the convenient store was quite far. However, during our stay, we cant sleep well every night as our rooms were very warm. Kept on waking up because of that. It was unfortunately due to their central heating being broken. Breakfast was okay, basic. But seats are not enough especially after 8am. Facilities provided in the room were just satisfactory. No kettle, cups, glasses provided. We were having trouble asking for hot water from the reception as they have no 24 hours kitchen service, so we cant ask for it after around 10pm. But overall, the service was good and staffs are friendly.

Le personnel de l'hôtel est très disponible, souriant, prêt à vous aide... bref à votre service. Ma chambre,une single, était en revanche un peu petite et étant au 1er étage peu claire naturellement. Rien à redire sur la location de l'hôtel : difficile de faire plus central / à proximité de plusieurs métros et lignes de tram. Très bon séjour et merci encore au personnel du Promenade pour leur compétence et gentillesse.

Perfect location, nice modern clean hotel in a great city. Walls a bit thin for corridor noise.

We were as a couple for the third time in Budapest in the past 7 years, coming after staying in cities like London, Paris, Vienna or Barcelona. Believe me that Promenade Hotel was the best for its cathegory. The quality vs. price is imbeatable, and also its location on Vacy Utca, the most important pedestrian and commercial street in Budapest, and, of course, the most central one. Tourisme all is good

Hotel is modern and new, conveniently located along shopping street, although need to take a short walk to transportation as it is on a car-free road. Only complaint is the poor air-conditioning - the central heating was too hot and the in-room air-conditioner didn't work. Front desk staff was very polite and helpful.

Our room had no outside facing windows, and was intolerably hot. (in December!). The lack of outside facing windows is not clear from the hotel website. Never been to budapest before. I would definetely come back to the city. reasonable prices, and interesting.

Very friendly and helpful staff, great location. Central heating was a bit too warm and there was some noise from the elevator when the window was open.

Brand new sparkling hotel in the very best location. With the exception of the bathroom design everything was perfect. The bathrooms should be fixed. The staff was always helpful and courteous. When an airconditioner problem arose, I was transferred to the neighbouring hotel.

A realy nice hotel in a prefect location.

The hotel and the rooms are very nice, very well located and a good breakfast. The price/quality is very good.

First time in Budapest. Arrived by train and went to information centre and was told your hotel was only a short taxi ride away 10 euro it cost.Hotel is very new behind an old facade. This hotel is right in the middle of the fashion street Vaci and is full of restaurants, interesting squares and could not be better located in this beautiful ancient city. Top Class!!!
