Overall, a very good hotel. Staff was extremely helpful and attentive; regarding the location, it is excellent (but keep in mind it is not at the heart of the touristic movement). The hotel is at walking distance to good restaurants, first class shopping and also to the hop on-hop off bus services, which are a great way to get to know the city. It was my first visit to Budapest and I really enjoyed the stay. Small "but" note: breakfast was a bit too expensive for the variety of food presented, despite the excellent quality.

The welcoming has been very good and I have appreciated the staff's availability and competence. The Bakara restaurant is elegant and offers very good food.

The hotel is located in a very pleasant and classical neighbourhood, and close to a metro station (by the way, a 127 year old metro line, and quite nice to ride). Hotel staff extremely attentive, provided best recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing. We just found the the breakfast somewhat pricy (20 euros per person).

The hotel is located on Embassy Row about 10 minutes to the old city by subway (located 2 minutes from the hotel) This was our first time in Budapest and there were a good number of restaurants within a short walking distance from the hotel. The rooms were a little small but the bed was excellent. The staff were very helpful and spoke English. They rpovided excellent suggestions for dinner and how to get from point a to point b.

Loved the location ,near to the turkish baths and to beautiful residential area,hotel room but disliked breakfast.Even the decoration if a little cheezy has a lot of character.Concierge quite helpful,booked classical music in the new auditorium,indicated good chauffered tour of city .

My French girlfriend and I travel extensively and are quite picky about hotels. This hotel was excellent. The staff wonderful and the rooms modern and clean. The hotel bar and rest is very nice. the only complaint I have is that the mattress was very hard.

The public rooms were being refurbished at the time of our stay which meant no restaurant or bar and breakfast taken in converted bedroom suites. We were compensated with a bottle of wine which was thoughtful but it would have been nice to know that this was happening before we arrived.

Very quite place close to the parks with baths and to the metro. Not very close to the city centre but with metro or taxi you will arrive there very fast.

Had a great weekend stay. The hotel is in a reasonably modern building - not particularly charming but in a good part of town - close enought to the center but slightly quieter, near the City Park with its baths. Public areas had a nice modern decor. Rooms were spacious, clean and pleasant, but less luxurious that I had expected from the rating.
