Hotel is clean, rooms and bathroom are nice. It is close to Metro (3min walk). Has private parking in back of hotel. Staff speaks English well. Breakfast was great, had few kinds of hams and cheese, fried eggs and bacon, juices, coffee. Hotel has its own restoraunt that had daily menu for lunch. For 4 euros we got noodle soup, fish with fries and desert. We paid our double room 46e including breakfast and parking. We were very pleased with quality/price ratio. If these prices remain, we would come here again, especially if you we are coming with our own car.

We enjoyed one night at this hotel, and because they didn't have availability but for twin rooms, we received as a double room a nice apartment at penthouse, which was more than we expected. A nice surprise! The room was very nice and spacious, with a big and very, very comfortable bed, a table with chairs and a little kitchen. Even if we had street view, the room wasn't noisy at all. The breakfast was quite poor. We wanted to stay one more night at this hotel at the end of our vacation (one week after), but unfortunately they didn't have available rooms anymore.

Good value for price (in Linz and Bratislava we got worse for that money). Close to the subway station. Internet offer is exactly as in reality. We strongly racomand this hotel, especialy for the travellers with car.

Good design of rooms; I've told the owner of the hotel is a constructor. Location excellent, at a walking distance from the metro; Budapest system takes you everywere. No malls or supermarkets near the hotel, but small ones are close. Shuttle from hotel to airport very useful. I will have it as an obvious alternative next time I visit Budapest.

Breakfast was poor. Room/bathroom were not spacious at all. Besides, one of the employees seemed to anxious to make us accept a specific boat+dinner program, which was too expensive.

The Hotel was exactly what I expected: located near the Arena, close to underground and bus stops to downtown with good service and welcoming. Excellent relationship quality/price.

Overall good hotel, but be aware that it is not at walking distance from the historic center of Budapest. The metro station is not very far away though and a 2 or 3-day pass will be very convenient to visit the city. Breakfast was OK. Lacking a bit of fruits in my view.

The hotel is o.k. but there is a very important problem: some rooms face to a very travelled and noisy street. In these rooms, because of the noise, it is impossible to sleep even with the windows closed. We had the bad luck of having two of these rooms and we couldn't sleep. It is a pity because even though the Hotel is good, this fact makes that we cann't recommend it.

Staff varied- reception were nice, the bar/restaurant less so. Particularly irritating was coming down to breakfast one morning at 9.50 (10 mins before end) and finding that things, including coffee machine, were no longer available as no one else was there. No apologies and no offers to provide coffee so got one from the bar and was charged.

The hotel provides the basic needs of travelers, no frills, mainly serving young (20-30yr.old) clients. The staff isn't warm and cozy, but competent in most areas. They packed us a breakfast to go since we checked out at 6:00am; which was very kind and hospitable of them. Being near the sports stadium, there is good access to public transportation although not being a picturesque area.

Price being an important factor and having compared to other hotels, I must admit I was utterly impressed by this hotel. If you are looking for a place to spend the night with no extra frills, this is the place. Clean light rooms, nice service, minibar, good breakfast, close to the metro and only three stops from the very city centre, nice restaurant and bar. Staff was very friendly always providing you advise on the cheapest transport options if you wanted to go somewhere. I later travelled stayed there with the spouse and two kids, upon which we got a very nice suite to a very affordable price. Highly recomended.

The rooms were modestly furnished but overall met our comfort needs. The quality was reasonable for the cost. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the best part of the stay. It was tastefully prepared and the breakfast room was very cheerful. We chose the hotel because of comments on Venere about the safety of the area compared to others which is very true. It is on the Pest side and about a couple of kilometers from city center. I recommend this hotel as reasonably priced in a safe neighborhood that meets most requirements of any traveler.

The location was handy by the Metro line, the price was good. breakfast was fair and employees were pleasant. Big problems were no electrical outlets in the room and very thin walls. A gaggle of women in two different rooms made lots of news and I heard it all.

We enjoyed very much our stay in this hotel.the room was very large and clean and the breakfast was good and rich.the center is very close to it by underground, the problem is that the metro stop running at 11 o'clock and you have to find an alternative way to go home. you can reach by foot or by tram (about 2 stops)the Szchenye thermal bath. the only bad thing it happened is that in the first day staff entered in the room with the master key without knoking: the guy to refill the fridge and the woman to clean the room.

The location is not great, there is nothing outside the hotel worth looking at. But getting to the center of Budapest doesn't take much time (two or three stops on the metro). Inside the hotel has no atmosphere or memorable appearance, but it does its job very well: very clean, quiet, nice breakfast. For the price it was definitely very good.

Great hotel with very helpful front desk. They will book all tours and most theater nights for you if you want and have great suggestions. Rooms are spacious, clean and modern and the underground is only a 5min by foot and only 10min to the city center. Surrounding area is not the nicest looking but bad either. Great 'feel' and very comfortable would easily stay again!

Ottima ubicazione, molto comodo al metrò, e buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. La colazione potrebbe essere un po' più ricca, mentre la cucina è molto buona. Nel complesso, un buon albergo per la sua categoria. Luca & Cristina

A really great and welcoming hotel. The staff are very helpful and the restaurant is lovely. The Stadionok Metro Station is just 5 minutes walk away and it is then just a 10 minute Metro journey to the city centre. I would definitely stay here again, highly reccommended!

This is a very good hotel and I would be very pleased to stay there again. The standard of service was excellent throughout my stay. The only gripe I had was the hotel's position. The hotel is a fair way outside the centre of Budapest which can be inconvenient late at night. (during the day is no problem as the metro is close by and tickets are quite cheap.)

Hotel veritas was a pleasant surprize, the hotel is new, the rooms are clean and well furnished, staff is welcoming. I can recommand also the restaurant: even if the hotel is a bit away from the centre, you do not have to wonder where to find good food!

Great hotel! Staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean and spacious enough. Breakfast was excellent and the restaurant was great as well. Only one stop on the train from the main station and three stops from the city centre. Walking distance to beautiful parks and the hugarian baths. Transport is very cheap and easy to use. Train station is 100 metres walk. Rooms were very quiet as well. This hotel is highly recommended!

The hotel is just off one of the main ring roads and in a residential area. The Nepstadion/Puskas Ference Stadium and Metro/Bus Station is just over the road. There are many restaurants within 15-30 minutes walk of the hotel and within 30/40 minutes walk you can find yourself at Ligetvaros Park/Heroes Square/Andrassy Ut and many of the Museums. The hotel is just in the right place. It's out of the hustle bustle of Budapest centre but just within a stone's throw of the major attractions. I will definitely be staying there again!

El hotel es limpio, tranquilo y la habitación espaciosa, el servicio fue muy amable y si cabe señalar algun punto negativo es tal vez que el colchón era un poco blando de más y el secador del baño era de juguete. Budapest es una maravilla.

The hotel is quite new and all facilities worked well. I was not bothered by the traffic although my room was on 1 floor facing a street. The hotel is close to all kinds of city communications and you are only minutes from the city center.

No doubt, I warmly recommend this hotel. The rooms are as good as new, much space, well isolated, just some traffic noise coming from outside, but it's normal in a city, and include a safe. Subway at 5 minutes on foot, then 10 minutes to city centre, and with a 3-days tourist ticket for 2500 florints (about 9 euros) including tramway + subway + bus, this is definitely not a problem. The hotel is located in a suburban zone, nothing to visit there, near the football Nep Stadion. But the city is very quiet and secure, so getting back to the hotel even at midnight is not stressing at all. The only negative remark - but this is valid everywhere in Budapest - concerns the service. Employees should learn to smile to customers or tourists. Although the service is correct, adding some human warmth would be much appreciated. Last but not least, the excellent breakfast is included in the overall price, and we could eat on the terrace. Really impressive.

Stayed there April, 2006. Our room was huge!....and very clean. The front desk was very helpful. Breakfast was large and well stocked...juices/tea/coffee, hot and cold meats, scrambled eggs, breads, cereals, yogurts. Hotel is about 7 minute walk from Stadionok metro stop and then it's easy to get to all tourist sites. Would stay there again!!

Very good hotel for its price. The room was nice, but the bov of the bathroom was a little bit small. The location is good as you can reach the subway station walking in 5 to 10 minutes and then go to the city center or railway station. The stop of Bus 75 is even closer, and with this Bus you can go the park where is located one castle and one thermal bath.

Continue straight along Szabad Sajtò u., Kossuth Lajos u. and Rackòczi u. until you reach Baross tèr and Keleti Palyaudvar ( the eastern railway station). Take the second on the right and proceed along Kerepesi u. until you reach Hungària krt. and turn left. The hotel is located on Mogyoròdi ùt which is the second on the right.

The Budapest Ferihegy Airport is located 15 km (9 miles) from the city center. The airport runs a minibus service to anywhere in the city, which costs approximately €4,90. On arrival simply visit the minibus desk and state your destination. The bus is likely to drop off other passengers on route but provides a cheap, reliable service throughout the city. Similarly, when traveling to the airport simply call the office on 1 296 8555 and tell them which flight you are on. It is best to call 24 hours in advance to ensure they are able to collect you.
An airport bus also runs to and from Erzsébet tér bus station in the city center every 30 minutes (between 5.30 a.m. and 9 p.m.) and costs approximately EUR 2,45. Take the red line M2 at the nearby Deak Ferenc tér until the Népstadion stop and walk to Hungaria krt. Turn left, then take the second on the right to the hotel.
Bus #93 runs between the airport and the underground terminus of Köbánya-Kispest. The ticket costs approximately €0,40. From there, take the blue line M1 until Déak Ferenc tér stop, switch to the red line M2 and follow the above stated indications.
A taxi to the center of Budapest will cost anything between €14,00 and €18,00. A large taxi rank is in front of the airport terminal. It is recommended to arrange with the driver how much it will cost to reach your destination and never to use an unmarked vehicle.
