Hotel Swing City - Budapest

The is hotel is well located because is in front of tram station,but just for this reaspn is very noisy.ther is NOT lift but only stairs and they gave us a room at the third floor.

Thank you for the opportunity to comment on our stay at the Hotel Swing. First, the Day Manager was friendly, competent, and gentlemanly. Second, breakfast was poor. The coffee was lukewarm, juice seemed watered down, and the rest was unremarkable. Third, the night manager was rude, unhelpful, and refused the smallest request. He had the attitude of a communist from the 1960s era. For example, the AC in our original room would not put out cool air. The night manager gave us new batteries (which did not solve the problem). When we complained, he said he could not help it. When we asked for another room, he said there were none. However, when we said we would not pay, another room appeared miraculously (but with a broken tv that was never fixed). In addition, the pillows were sparse, and only one blanket. Honestly, we have had better hotel experiences in third world Asian countries. Needless to say, we would not recommend this hotel to others.

Parking - not at all! Garage place for 4 cars, impossible to enter or exit garage, too small for any biger car than SMART! Sheets were clean but demaged, TV without remote control, fridge not workiing, WLAN OK, bathroom sort of clean but inventary too old and broken! Nice conception of hotel but for 50 years ago....

Rooms are big and high but need refurbishment (e.g. holes in the wall). One of persons who work on daily shift was comunicative and helpfull second who work on night shift was not so.

We have been to Budapest for the first time, it was wonderful. Only comment: parking is advertised, bau thera are only few places in a garage, fortunatelly we were lucky.

The hotel is nice, but the employes are quite bad, they don't like to give informations to the guests!

This hotel is good if you are on a budget. The staff was friendly and tried hard to help out with every thing. The quad room we were in was very spacious with high ceiling, but a bit old and the breakfast is not so good. but hey, considering the room rate, can't complain! Note that a lot of 3 star hotels in Budapest (including this one) do not have elevator even though it may not be specified in the hotel description. We could only use the wifi if we sat in the lobby. Even though it is called Swing city, we did not see any inappropriate happening in the hotel.

The hotel is located just outside the downtown but really close to the tram stop (just in front) and the metro stop (200 metres in the same street). service like gym, jacuzzi, restaurant are not in the hotel but close to it and not for free. the breakfast is very good and various.
