All fine BUT internet availability in the room depends on the the mood of the person in reception. As I found out the wifi radio sends out signals but they have filtered access by mac address. So receptions tells you "sometimes the password doesnt work" if in bad mood. And if good mood they grant access!

The room I had was nice. Comfortable bed. Everything was clean and it was pretty spacious considering the cheap price. The shower was nice and big, and I always had hot water. There is a grocery store about a five-minute walk away, and the tram and metro stops are also very close as well. It takes 15 minutes by tram and you're in the city center. Overall, I was satisfied with the hotel. However, I'm going to list the little annoyances I discovered over my six-night stay just to give you a heads up. My room faced the west side of the building, and the deep fryer from the restaurant attached to the hotel must have its vents on this side. Any time I'd have my window open in the evening, it stunk of deep-fried food! The restaurant closes at 22:00, and by 22:15, it's ok to open the window. The other bad thing is that the internet is not available in the rooms. Well, I had it for one day in the six I stayed there. You can use the wifi in the lobby, but it would be great to have it in the room. The other thing is the noise. The walls are thin. In addition, the halls are built like sound echo chambers. There is nothing -- no carpet or anything -- to dampen the sounds. The slightest conversation can be heard loud and clear in the rooms. Also, the doors slam pretty loudly. There's nothing to stop them, and people don't realize they sound like gun shots to someone sleeping in a room down the hall. I hope these things don't dissuade you from thinking of staying at this hotel. Like I said, for the price it's a great place!

Hotel is OK. Rooms are simple but clean. Rila Hotel is close to Metro station, has good connetion with city center.

By trainFrom Keleti Pu. Eastern train station take the tram line 24 and get off at Nagyvárad tér stop, or take the underground M2 (Red line) in direction of Déli pu. and get off at Deák tér, then change to underground M3 (Blue line) in direction of Kõbánya-Kispest and get off at Nagyvárad tér stop. Proceed towards the Haller utca exit, walk one block on the left side of Haller utca and turn left onto Fehér Holló utca. Hotel Rila Budapest is directly ahead on the right.
From Nyugati Pu. Western train station take the underground M3 (Blue line) in direction of Kõbánya-Kispest and get off at Nagyvárad tér stop. From there follow the indications above.
From Déli Pu. Southern train station take the underground M2 (Red line) in direction of Örs Vezér tér and get off at Deák tér stop, then change to underground M3 (Blue line) in direction of Kõbánya-Kispest and get off at Nagyvárad tér stop. From there follow the indications above.
