I think they could use a larger counter space in the bathroom to put cosmetics, etc. and a few more hooks for towels, etc.

Hotel facilities were modern and presentation was excellent, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good with a broad range of hot and cold fresh foods presented and regularly topped up. Coffee, cool drinks, newspapers and internet connected PC's were all available free of charge in the lounge area during the day. WiFi was also available throughout the hotel. The rooms were quite comfortable and spacious with more than adequate storage space. The TV had sufficient chanels (incl english language), there was an "in room safe" and bar fridge. The hotel was located an easy 10 minute walk along Baros St to the Kalvin Metro Station or nearby Markets. Very reasonably priced accomodation for the quality of hotel although we had some laundry and dry cleaning done which proved to be quite expensive. All up, in our opinion, it can be highly recommended.

The hotel was roomy and beautiful, but the service was the best in every regard. This is what really set this hotel apart from all others.

We loved this hotel! It was ultra-modern, yet it still felt very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and were willing to help us in any way they could. They also had great knowledge of where to go for our excursions. Thank you for helping make our stay a fabulous one!

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. Very helpful desk staff: they recommended Borsso Bistro for our first evening meal & we enjoyed it so much we ate there twice more! The chocolate milk available in the foyer is well worth trying after an exhausting walk about Budapest. We recommend the 24 hour 'hop on, hop off' bus to get an idea of where everything is on both sides of the Danube & then buy a Budapest card. Whilst we were there in late March we had sunny weather & so we enjoyed a Legenda sightseeing cruise which included a guided walk on Margaret Island.

Hotel was lovely, found it very central and close to public transport although we actually walked everywhere from hotel. Liked the complementary hot drinks at the bar until 5pm daily but might have preferred a kettle etc in the rooms. breakfast was very good was quite crowded but always got a seat. Internet faclities excellant although the printer was not always working. Did not use the spa facilities here although would have liked to they looked lovely! really enjoyed the style of the hotel and our stay here before New Year.

This was by far the best hotel I've ever stayed...modern design, free coffee-tea-water until 5 p.m., excellent breakfast, computer room with free internet access, spotlessly clean, very good location, friendly staff...do you need more?

This was an excellent choice for my four-day stay. It was a pleasant walk to the National Museum and to the fine old-fashioned Hungarian Muzeum Restaurant (near but not part of the museum) that was recommended to me by the very obliging desk clerk. Breakfast was included- you could go down to the copious buffet or have a selection of cold meat and cheese and pastries brought to your room. The internet room in the hotel was first class, with eight computers and a printer. Printed off my boarding card for the return flight with no difficulty. Free coffee in the lounge until five daily. Hotel was a short walk to the bus. Probably too far out of town for much pedestrian sightseeing. I took taxis that the hotel booked for me. The Zichy was the first hotel on the airport mini-bus route coming in from the airport, so a bit on the edge of the inner city but not in a suburb. The architecture - a blend of the original elegant features with chic modern-- was delightful.

Palazzo Zichy far exceeded our expectations. It is close to a metro stop and nestled in a lovely neighborhood. The personnel and facilities were amazing. This was the best 4-star hotel I have ever stayed in and was 5-star in my opinion. The breakfasts were gourmet. The reception and room service were exemplary. Thanks to everyone at the Palazzo Zichy. I will be back.

A very nice hotel indeed. The rooms could be a bit bigger, but we stayed only 1 night so did not care much. Nice breakfast room with glass flooring.Very polite and helpful staff. We found parking in front of the hotel, in the street so we parked cheap whole night (cca 1 EURO).There is a wellness corner we did not use but I went to see it and it looks nice.We stayed during promotional rates, so it was a good deal. The only con is that my credit card was charged twice due to their testing of new billing software, but they said they would fix it.I recommend this hotel. It is a really very nice hotel, a mixture of traditional architecture and modern interior.
