Hotel Kálvin Ház - Budapest

Great Hotel in the centre of Budapest, easy access to public transportations and to restaurant street Raday utca. Nice and friendly staff. It can be noisy if you leave the windows open.

Location of hotel is excellent, it's very close to metro station and some main attractions. Hotel is in a old building but it's renovated very good, my room was furnished with modern equipments. Reception team was very helpful, the lady at reception helped me to find bus schedules. Breakfast was quite rich. Only negative point is, my room was on the top floor therefore wi-fi was not working, but it's not big problem because you can use web from computer in reception room and it's free of charge.

Breakfast for italian people is a little bit poor of choice, but the hotel's location is excellent, and the employees was very kind. Large and quiet room.

We travelled as two retired couples, looking to visit the city on our own. The staff was wonderful. They made recommendations on restaurants, helped with transportation, and gave us excellent advice. They made us feel welcome, and wanted to make sure that our stay was enjoyable.

Very nice hotel, 5min of Vaci utca, principal street, 3min of market, 5min of Gellert bath. Rooms very very spacious but not quiet if you are on first floor!

First time in budapest. A very charming hostel,great room, very clean and clear. The only little problem is the street's noise. But a very very good quality/price ratio!

The room was big,witch was very nice. Bathroom is old and no heating in the floor witch makes it moisty. Towels do not dry up over night. The cover for the beds and the pillows seemed used up, as they where bumpy and impossible to cuddel into. Plus for nice atmhosfere and nice furniture in the room.

The hotel is greatly located (few meters from the Budapest market - I recommend a visit to buy some paprika and hungarian sausages- it is closed on sundays though). Hotel situated next to tube station and 15 mins walk from many sights. The rooms are very spacious and nicely decorated. The building in itself is a bit old. Probably the only thing that wasn't great is the quality of the towels (a bit old) and they do not change them everyday. Staff is very helpful and attentive (I was cold and they provided an extra heater). There is no frigo in the room but you can ask the reception and they can seel you water and other drinks. Breakfast could be better but it is ok.
