Hotel Golden Park - Budapest

The room was small for four people. The carpet was old and stained. The bed of the children was uncomfortable, because taken from a sofa. In conclusion: does not correspond to the standard 4-star hotels.

I really liked the balcony and the downstairs sitting area, although the bartender would not give me tap water to drink without charging me! There should also be wifi in the rooms, BUT the breakfast was pretty decent and the location across the street from the train station is excellent. I would stay here again.

Very nice hotel. Only problem was the very bad smell which came in when we opened the window. Would go there again!!!

There isn't parking in the hotel

85 euro for a night in such a place is really too much. The hotel was not bad but the price was too high. the frigo bar was empty, in the bath (only with shower) there was no soap or shampoo. Clean but poor. The breakfast was bad

This was a one night only stay. The room might have been a bit small for anything longer, but we suspect the hotel did possess larger rooms too. Very handy for the international Railway station (Keleti)

Der beste Standort - gegenueber dem (Ost-)Bahnhof (leicht zu finden, schnelle verbindung). Fruehstuecksraum - excellent! Fruestueck - excellent! (ausser Kaffee, kein Bohnenkaffee wie man es gewoehnt hat - aber damit hat man schon gerechnet. Aber die meisten Gaeste (russisch sprechend), ich glaube, bevorzugen hier den Tee.). Am Fruestueck wurde nichts gespart - ob Omelett, ob gekochte Eier, Schinken, Salat verschiedener Art usw. - eine gute Auswahl, Mengen nicht begrenzt - da kann man schon auf den "echten Kaffee" verzichten. Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer gebucht. Am Morgen schaut man durchs Fenster und sieht im Innenhof das glaeserne Dach (siehe Bilder des Hotels) und stellt fest - dadurch sieht man schon den Fruehstuecksraum. Schoen! Ich wuerde dieses Hotel unbedingt empfehlen.

The hotel staff members were very helpful. When we arrived on their doorstep in the late morning after an overnight train from Krakow, they allowed us to check in early. They were also knowledgeable about area attractions and happy to arrange taxis, tours, and fulfill other requests. The room was small but comfortable. The room was well-insulated and we didn't hear street noise except for passing ambulance sirens. While it was clean, the bathroom was small. I managed to repeatedly turn the shower off while in it by accidentally bumping the controls. Don't count on the Internet access at the Business Center working. About half the time the system wouldn't authenticate us despite the fact we had purchased a card that was good for 24 hours (for 6 Euros).

Nice hotel near the Keleti station. The station area is not very pretty but easy to take public transportation to the city centre and other main attractions around the city. Room small but modern. Helpful staff.

Located in the surroundings of the train station (2 minutes walk). Breakfast is delicious. Quiet and warming.

Excellent hotel. Recently completely renovated. Everything seems new. Staff friendly and helpful. Good location if arriving by rail from Western Europe - just a few minutes walk away from the station. Highly recommended.
