I stayed for four nights in August and I would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to others. It's very centrally located, just a couple of minutes walk from Vaci Utca and the centre of Pest, and no distance from the metro station to get around the rest of town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My only minor dissatisfaction would be about the level of noise from the street outside early in the mornings, or sometimes late at night. All in all the hotel gave great value for money.

The stay was really good. One of the receptionists (Zsofia) was particularly helpful. One of the male receptionists, however, was dismissive and obnoxious. He was at the reception desk in the afternoon of June 27. The hotel is clean and it has an excellent location, close to a very nice pedestrian street. We attended a concert in St. Michael's church at a walking distance. It is also very close to the wonderful views of the Danube.

We had to leave very soon after our arrival for a sudden need and we were not charged for the price of the room even if we already entered it and used the bathroom etc. The staff was very helpful for our sudden need.

A great hotel, looks like a 4 stars more than 3. Very close to the metro station and the downtown, you can also find a 24h supermarket and some pubs/restaurants. Inside the hotel you can buy souvenirs or postcards and can find a restaurant (which we didn't try, however). A perfect place to stay during a visit in Budapest!

I'd didn't like the comportement of employees. They were completely indifferent of the problems what I had with insupportable noise in the room from exterior in during 3 days. Instead help they entered in bizzare discussion. Really low level of the staff in reception. Just the situation on map is not bad. I'll not recommend this hotel for people who want pass a nice vacancy à Budapest.

Advantages: The location of the hotel is very good, as well as the discounted prices we paid for the room. The buffet breakfast was great: lots of food, big diversity. Disadvantages: Small room Very low temperature in the room (it was snowing outside), with no possibility of making it warmer. We could actually feel the cold air blowing from the closed window. Very poor soundproofing - it felt like we were sleeping with the window open: we could actually hear people pulling their luggage on the street. No soap or shampoo in the bathroom, just a shower gel dispenser on the wall. Maybe during summer this hotel is more guest-friendly, but i wouldn't choose it during another visit in Budapest.

"Erzsébet City Center" is a very good hotel of this level... Its rating should be higher than indicated for some others, which included into your service.. e.g. King's Hotel (in Budapest) is of much, much, much lower level, but its rating is higher...

A polished hotel, clean, fine; employees are very professional and qualified. Rooms are pretty and clean, very spaciuos. The hotel is well located: really near the main promenade in Pest; metro station is at 5 min. walk. They also keep our bycicles in a safe room: very comfortable if you are cyclists!

Although the hotel is good, the street in front was in the works obstructing access to the hotel and producing much noise. We were not informed of this fact when making the reservation.

This is a great hotel with perfect location in the city centre. We had a very nice, clean and quiet double room which wasn´t expensive at all (about 56 EUR/night). The staff is friendly and capable. Only little disadvantage: breakfast costs extra and isn`t that cheap.

Good clean hotel in the downtown and close to all attractions and shopping. Rooms were pleasant though not spacious.Good value at stated price of 50 euros with discounted breakfast. Only complaint: no bar of soap, only that soap/shampoo dispenser located in the shower- no handy.Breakfast fine.
