in a great location although the main entrance is hard to find, and it took some time for me to figure out how to ring the bell to the reception so that they could open the door for me. but it's just the first impression. People are very friendly and helpful!

Clean room, booked a driver to meet us at the airport and take us to the hotel after a late evening flight. Excellent location near a metro stop and restaurants. I would definitely stay there again.

Very pleased, very good value. Staff very efficient and pleasant. Look for single doorway between Burger King and the big bank. Be ready to telephone desk (have cell with you) if front door lock won't open (bit tricky, first time only). Excellent location at Blaha Lujza metro station (buy tkts in pkgs of 10).

I was on a business trip. However, I had enough time to vst Budapest as the hotel is located very convenient - close to Keleti railway station (15 min) and to the city centre (20 min). It is an excellent place if you want to visit the city and pay less. The public transport is in easy reach. The staff was really great- they helped us a lot when needed and were very firendly. The building is beautiful also and vey quiet. We will certaintly return in our next trip to Hungary!

Place close to main budapest attractions ( 1 hour walk from parliament, St. Stephen, Museums 1 and a half from Buda Castle). Staff very kind and reliable. Rooms spacious and clean but some have the windows facing the main street so they are VERY noisy for the traffic. They have some rooms facing the inner courtyard, no noise at all.

Very clean, very central, very helpful. The decor is very minimal (bordering bare), but the apartment was extremely clean. There was a problem with the hot water, which was promptly fixed. We stayed in the "apartment". Small little changes would turn it from 'very good' to 'exceptional value': add a table, a coffee maker, a second chair. All in all, a very good value for the size/location of the place, extremely friendly and helfull staff.

I trevelled with my boy-friend, just for sight-seeing. This place was a great choice: clean, nice, frendly staff - with good knowledge of English. The room was big, air conditioner & wireless internet were available & both worked fine.

A nice woman whom we have met in the reception was really welcoming and friendly. We recieved a Tourist guide in our mother tongue. I was glad we could to pay in Euros. I was just missing any parking place here and breakfast was also not included. You can buy a voucher at the reception and go to a restaurant nearby. I would return back again.

Everything was excellent, except the spaciousness of the room and the function of air conditioning. I couldn't pass it at a lower temperature than 25 degrees and during the night, because we was 2 persons in the room was very hot.

Very, very loud street noise all night. Very difficult to find, a small sign to a recessed door along a main road and many businesses close by. Very limited service but staff was friendly and helpful.

These people are doing a good job re-doing a very old building. As it's been some time since we were actually there, I've really forgotten a lot about it. We were only there 1 night. The location is convenient, but the address a bit difficult to find. The people were very helpful.

The hotel is conveniently located with a metro line just steps away. It,s difficult to find the entrance to the hotel the first time you arrive, because it has no name, and you have to wait outside and ring a bell until somebody opens the door from the second floor. Even though it was just a place to sleep, the room has a lack of furniture. No table o chair to put the luggage. There is no such public area, and the window curtain was too thin, you could see through. The walls, also, are too thin, you could hear the next room, workers renovating other rooms and when everybody opened the noisy antique door. Maybe if you ask for a quiet room would be better, because its not a bad place to stay. The hotel has a lot of potencial with a few improvements.

The overall quality is excellent. But first, in spite we were in an excellent room, it was only a problem: it was near a big avenue with little acustic isolation. We ask for change to another room and prontly they change us to a very silent room. The rooms are very good in space, comodity and clean.

We stayed there for 2 nights(friday and sunday) (couple). First room was spacious an it looked on main Rakoci street, so it was a bit louder. Bathroom was very clean and nice, so was the room and linens. The heating was working fine. Second night we were in the other room which looked on backyard. It was smaller, but quite and very clean. The location of Centrooms is perfect-one metro station from railway station and 2 stations from Vaci street. Around the building the are fast food restaurants and supermarket, which is very convinient. Staff was very polite with perfect english, and we could pay in Euro as well :-)

Very good hotel with very spacious room and a really good bathroom. The location is perfect. In the southern border of the city centre and it's very comfortable because you can go to the most turistic part of Budapest by walk.

the floor of the room was really dusty. when i asked them to clean the next day and emphasized the floor to be cleaned... it was still the same after i came back. the hotel entrance was hard to find because the reception is on the second floor. moreover, the doorbell on the ground floor was broke. thus i had to wait for other people who had the key to let me in... finally, the reception desk is not 24 hours. they never informed me about it... and i have to pass the reception office to get to my room, i was locked outside! and if it weren't my friend who returned earlier to the room... i couldn't get inside! thus i am giving this hotel a really low rating!

Absolutely fantastic location. Room is clean, cosy, sitellite TV, you experience life of hungarians, because it's a flat converted into hotel room. There is "Burger King" at the corner and other cafes, supermarket across the street. Staff is friendly and helpful. All tourist destinations could be reach on foot from the hotel becasue of its location. Super accomodation for those who is on budget travel.

great location if you want an easy way to move around the city. The rooms are wide and clean, and the personal at the reception is very helpful with the information about the city. nice quality-price relation. Not a hotel for spending day at, and it doesn't intend to.

I live in Italy, and for this quality in Italy you have to pay a lot more. My room was facing the outside street which is one of the main streets in Budapest, and then it was quite noisy, but the room by itself was quite good and clean. Staff was very friendly too. Wi-fi is free and work perfectly. It is quite near of many of the main tourist attractions. With 10-20 min walking you are already there, and there is a subway station just out of the door. There are many supermarkets quite near too and some fast-food restaurants. You can pay the bill in eurosl, so you don't need to change money. And it is better that way. Don't change money in the airport as I did. it is the worst thing you can do.

The hotel is very well located, just above the metro station and close to downtown. The room is ok at that price but it's very noisy. We couldn't sleep very well during our stay because of the noise (coming from the main street, from other people from the hotel). The room is not well insolated.
