The windows of the rooms are open to the corridor, no direct access to outside. This makes the room very hot and difficult to have fresh air coming in. However certain rooms have possibilities of aircondition, 10 euros more. But unfortunately we don't have for our room. With the heat in Budapest difficult to have good sleeps. Besides this, overall is fine. Good location close to the Hero square and Metro line. Small shop for cold drinks even open mid night.

The Cleanliness of the room was actually excellent, but unfortunately there was a strange smell of carpet cleaner or something, which did not disapear within the entire stay, thus the reason for the lower evaluation. The public areas where also very nice, only fresh fruit and vegetables were somewhat missing in the breakfast, so again the lower evaluation on this point.

The Hotel is very good, closed to the center, near to underground. The only thing to improve in my opinon is breakfast, they can do better..

This accomodation is worth using when travelling on low/mid budget. Quality-Price-relationship is excellent, quiet and clean rooms, friendly staff, descent breakfast, close to public transport, I would use it again.

A charming place well located near a metro and not far from Keleti station. My room faced an internal courtyard and was quiet. OK breakfast, very competent staff. A good deal for the price.

Nice small hotel with helpful staff. Room and bathroom were very basic, but clean and comfortable enough. Excellent breakfast. The only set back was the location in a really dirty and smelly street, close to a massive rubish container. Otherwise it would had been again my choice when visiting Budapest. Thankyou to the staff anyway, as it is not their fault. Diana Guzman-Burgos, from Santiago, Chile

The staff here were very friendly and responsive. At check in the clerk escorted me to room to point out things (such as the door lock mechanism which took some time to figure out) and to the breakfast buffet area. The breakfast selection was better than most: cereal, yogurt, cold cuts, coffee, tea, juice (no fruit). Building is still relatively new so the furnishings were in good condition. They allowed complimentary use of the pc in the lobby which I appreciated to check on email. Location was very convenient and while the neighborhood felt gloomy due to poor condition of surrounding buildings, most appear to be in midst of repair & renovation so likely to be better. The map location was not very clear but I found easily from keleti station as I walked the whole way down Rottenbiller - the hotel is almost exactly between keleti and Nyugati RR stations. Hotel is close to transportation though to get to Keleti station (my departure point) it was best to use taxi (8 euros). Very prompt friendly staff (spoke english well) recommended excellent restaurant 'regos falatozo'. This is great location to explore the city. There's also a tiny (150 sq ft in 1st floor of old building - easy to miss it!)convenient store a block south on Andrassey where you can get items food etc... for during the day exploring the city.

Very nice and welcoming staff and also very helpful with directions and tips on where to go. Room clean and spacious. Nice power shower, much needed after a long day walking around town. Nice breakfast. Would definitely go there again.

A hotel without client's satisfaction questionnaire??? A lack of serious approach by management. But still a nice hotel for the price and location. Staff maybe not so qualified (lack of training) but extremely nice and did their outmost to satisfy my as a client. The walls between the rooms a bit thin! Ooor breakfast room and food i.e. just ready to eat packaging. The underground station not far away which did the stay in Budapest very easy.

Staff very helpful and hotel clean and quiet except for a barking dog. I would recommend a stay at this hotel preferably in a room on the ground floor. Hotel quite central and close to Metro which though limited is useful for reaching the centre.Zoo handy

A very nice small hotel for spending a few nights in this beautiful city. Just 15 min away from the city center with the subway and located in a quiet elegant neighborhood. Affordable pricing and very friendly helpful staff. It would not cost a fortune to the owner to leave a couple of shower gel/shampoo sachets in the room or to install a simple hair dryer, taking into account the very small nuber of rooms. The monotonous breakfast might also be improved without being a charge to the owner (particularly if you are spending 3 or more nights!) Overall, though, I reccomend it with no doubt as an excellent alternative to the pricey hotels in the city.

The guys and girls of the staff were always very kind and professional. The position in the town is good and quite near the centre, Andrassy Ut and to the Underground; moreover there are few good restaurant to have dinner near the pension. The rooms were very quiet ! And also the breakfast was good. I really suggest this nice pension !

I travelled with my father and requested twin beds at time of booking. As we travelled through the night from Bucharest we booked the night previous so we could check in immediately. I'm happy to say that both these requests were fulfilled, the staff were great, the breakfast generous and the hotel was extremely well placed- just off Andrassy Ave. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff is helpful and competent. The room is a little bit small, but there is space for everything and it is friendly. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the underground station Kodaly Korond. Good quality/price ratio.

staff altogether friendly, welcoming and eager to please. Map not accurate for location (it's south, not north of Andrassy utca). No one cleaned our room, but we got fresh towels when we asked for them. breakfast was simple but OK, however the dreadful loud radio music provided was a real drag. Good location for exploring central Pest and--for dedicated walkers--Buda.

Just a little noisy in my room because the door of my room was very near the reception. Reception was excellent, small fridge in the room, full TV satellite (more than 50 channels!) and the quality of service was quite, quite nice. I highly recommend you this hotel, 10 minutes walk from downtown and from the monument of Heroes. The surroundings are very very pleasent with nice and big manors. Restaurant MENZA is an excellent place to eat (Liszt Square).

The staff is very friendly and speak good english and also german. The woman was so nice to give us a double bed room also when we were booked for a twin bed room. The red colour of the blancets seems heavy on the photos in reality the room was attractive, clean, enough space. The breaktfast is okay (don't drink the coffee). The street is a bit black and dirty but not dangerous and very quiet. Its 5 min from the underground and 15 min to the center if you walk. I can hardly recommend it.

The Room was without windows and the price in HUF (23400 =93,96€) was not the price on your web site 94€

Don't be put off by the red bed covers and curtains in the photographs - they may not be to everyone's taste, but this is a welcoming little hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. It's also in a good location, about a fifteen minute walk to the shopping areas and the Danube and 5-10 minutes to the museums in Heroes Square.
