Hotel Castle Garden - Budapest

What a lovely surprise!! the hotel and location were perfect, I am an hotel manager in Florence and I can assure that everything and everyone was indeed very professional. We were thrilled for the suberb location near the castle. We were acomodated in a nice standard double, we have booked on a room only basis but we decided on the spot to have breakast and that was also perfect. We liked the hotel so much that we decided to book for our return to Italy in a week time and we had two nice connecting rooms as our son was with us, he enjoyed the free internet. Thanks Géza, Marianne and Staff! we shall for sure come back. L. Michel

The purpose of our stay was a leasure visit to the city prior to embarking on a Danube River Cruise. We had one evening meal at the Hotel Castle Garden and two breakfasts. All meals were excellent.

4 days in Budapest, hotel in good location near historical area (Buda castle).

Magnificent Hotel, nothing more to say. Helpful staff, great location, quiet surrounding in a marvelous part of Budapest. 20% discount for the hotel clients at the restaurant (try their amazing tiramisu after a delicious dinner), clean rooms and great services. We had a small problem with the heating in the bathroom (not working at all), but was fixed immediately the second day (when we pointed it out at the reception). Remember, there is a "Panorama Room" which i wasn't able to visit, but i am pretty sure the view from there will be amazing. Take care, if u use Moszkva Ter it might be confusing finding the road towards the hotel, but both Varfok and Ostrom will do the job (still uphill road, fatiguing if carrying baggages). For sure i will be back in this lovely hotel whenever i will return at this great city.

Myself and my friend had a lovely stay at this hotel, the staff were friendly, the restaurant was nice and the breakfast was excellent. I would recommend this hotel as it is extremely good value. The staff let us have a late checkout on our departure date without charging anything which was a lovely gesture..thanks guys. If we come back to Budapest we would stay here again.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we would book there again. We were particularly impressed with the hotel restaurant, where we ate on 3 out of 4 nights.

It's been really a good stay, the location is perfect, just outside the Buda castle. Breakfast was the best I ever ate in a hotel.

Davvero un ottimo hotel. Nuovissimo, praticamente nel centro di Buda, personale gentile, camere silenziose anche perchè inserite nel verde, internet gratuita in camera e costo ottimo. Ci ritornerò.

I would say that is a very nice hotel for staying, helpful and friendly staff, very excellent location, proper price... I think I will be back this hotel when I visit Budapest again in the future!

We stayed in Castle Garden 5 nights, it was very pleasant stay, but maids did not change our bed linen at all (it is usual after 3 days even in 3 star hotels), did not wash up used cups and glasses, the bath-tub was not washed up during our whole stay. We did not use wellness - it is NOT included in price as written. The staff were polite and helpful, but following my opinion they need experienced boss who would check their work daily (especially cleanliness of the rooms). Location of the hotel is excellent, very close to the Buda Castle, you can get from the airport to the hotel by public transport within 1 hour approx. Breakfast was delicious, the restaurant is lovely. I would rate this hotel 3 stars, not 4 stars.

Use of the wellness area was not included in the price, although it was indicated on web page and in reservation.
