We were welcomed by a nice man at reception, even though he asked for 10 euro per night, for the parking lot. We showed him the Venere reservation, on which it was clearly stated that parking is included. He then said: "OK, parking is free for you!". Got in the room, searched for Wireless, but hey no! wireless is available only downstairs (you need to ask for a user&password from reception - they'll handle valid ones for 2 hours - even thought it's for free). The rooms are kinda nice. Good beds, clean sheets. The TV has no ports to connect your laptop to; as we wanted to watch some movies from our laptop. The shower is excellent!! Very hot water and incredible pressure. The breakfast it's below average: bread it's fine, some eggs, let's say acceptable, but the coffee, yoghurt, are just lousy. Anyway, all in all, you get what you pay for, and i believe it's one great place if you're just stopping by for few nights, especially when you come from Wien (which is so easy to get to this hotel from M5 - just keep following the Ersezebet-hid, and right after the fly-over you'll have the hotel on the right). During our night there, i thought i should go for a walk, and buy something (it was already past ten in the evening). Turning right, immediately you go outside the hotel, 500 yards down the street, you will find on 24h non-stop small shop, were you can buy some nice products - try their black beer. :) Hope you enjoy too!

The hotel is at the main road to Budapest a quarter of an hour of the city center by car, and very loud because of the traffic. It was very hot on july 16-18(31-33°C)but no way to leave the window open. There was a tv but no fan! We asked for another room and got one that was still hot but on the other side and we could sleep. The receptionnist asked for a garantie of 5 EUROS for the magnetic key card ! We felt considered as swindlers. Incidentally our car was forced in Budapest and the GPS got stolen while we had dinner in a restaurant in the center!Afterwards it was very difficult to find our way back to the hotel!

Cercano di far pagare il parcheggio nel garage, ma ho portato con me la stampa della prenotazione che attestava il parcheggio gratuito.

A little too far from major tourist spots. Had to take a cab or walk 15-20 minutes.

Good location for sightseeing but the hotel is beside a busy road. Prices of drinks at the hotel were very high. The room was good value for money.

The hotel is only clean. The internet is only available in the loby and you have to pay for it in a three star hotel. You have to pay 5€ deposite for the room key.

It's acceptable what You get for the money. But this hotel has no atmosfere and is not cosy at all. Breakfast could be better but I don't know hungarian standard (my first time). I received as requested during prenotation a room off the road, which I appreciated very much. Also distance to town center and parking facility is good. Perfect for short stay.

We were 5 people from the same family (a 74-y-old mother, a 44 y-old brother, a 34-y-old sister, another 40 y-old brother and his 41-y-old wife) and we got one triple and one double room. The rooms were spacious and very clean (the triple room was really pleasant, with a working table, TV and sofa, and a big bathroom). In the triple room, the third bed (sofa) was not put together when we arrived. We ended up doing it ourselves, after overcoming some difficulties with assembling the sofa (not very easy to put together... -- we did not ask for help). The breakfast was alright (cold meets, cheese, very poor quality juices, EXCELLENT coffee, so-so bread) and the wireless internet was only working at the lobby. The downside was to depend on buses to get to places, as in Budapest you must buy the bus tickets in advance (there are no ticket machines at the bus stops). The distance from Ferenciek Tere was walkable (for people who are used to walk) but when you are tired of walking the whole day, it is not the best way to go (there are buses to the hotel from the subway station). There are night buses, but they take some time to come. The guy at the lobby was patiently detached-helpful (not overly friendly) and he offered good advice on bathhouses to go. Overall, it was a good stay and we surely would go back to Bara.
