We were in Budapest for weekend. We arrived much earlier than 2 PM but that was not problem. Room was clean but not spacious. If you stay there only for sleeping, that's not problem. Breakfast was every day the same. Coffee was terrible, instant coffe was better.

I liked Anna very much. It is family hotel and the owners speak russian very good. Very quiet and nice place. The center is 15 minutes walk on foot. I have heard nightingales when the windows were open. If I come back to Budapest again I will choose Anna Hotel.

I'm thinking that if i will come to Budapest, i will return to Hotel Anna because services and the relationship have been very good. The occasion for my staying in Budapest has been visited an a contemporary art exhibition to the Ludwig Museum.

We thought that 45€/room/night was a totally acceptable price for such a nice hotel less than 1,5 kms from Vaci Utca - and when the price turned out to include breakfast, we were even more pleased. Nice and friendly staff, clean and quiet rooms. We'll for sure recommend this to others!

Considering the paucity of Budapest hotels under $100, we found Hotel Anna more than satisfactory. Good location, friendly English-speaking family owners, good breakfasts, free Internet. They were happy to hold our forgotten bag for several days until we returned to Budapest. Given the price, we could live with the small room and barely adequate shower. When we decided to spend our last two days in Budapest (so we could enjoy women-only Tuesday at Rudas Baths) we were given a very nice room on the top floor for the same price.

We arrived at around 4pm only to find out that there was no room for us. The hotel receiptionist said it was the problem with the travel agency and we were sent to another hotel further away from the city center. I sent them a message several days before our arrival and if they were full house, they should have told us then. We don't need them to redirect us to another hotel.

Nice hotel for those who wish to use it as a base for sightseeing in Budapest. Room was very spacious with two single beds at either end ! Only downside is that it is a bit out of the way for those who may not be able to walk far. Not a lot of choice for eating out in the immediate vicinity. All in all very good value for money.

The hotel was very good. Clean, quiet, free internet access, good breakfast, nice hotel reception staff (English, German and Spanish speaking). The “Casual Room” was very small, but if you use it only to sleep it is OK. Otherwise, the surrounding areas was terrible. Poor illuminated streets, piss smelling everywhere and dirty streets. At least it is a Metro station about 3 blocks distance.

We did not like the room we first got. So we got another room for a higher price.We did not like the shower. The breakfast was very simple. I think this hotel is for students. We will never stay ther again.

Hotel Anna is one of the best hotels in Budapest with such cheap prices for a double room. The only concern was a loud noise during the weekend - there was a bar or a rehearsal room or something like that nearby. Fortunately, the music stopped at 8 o'clock so that wasn't a big problem. Other than that - I recommend.

Respect to other hotel, at same level, where I've been stayed the Hotel Anna offers a low quality into their rooms and warmed of employees. I advise to search an hotel more close to Danubio river, also if it has a price more high, because especially in the night you must do a good walking to return.

This was our second stay in hotel Anna. The location of the hotel is excellent. Last year we had a triple room which was in the "old" part of the hotel and, in fact it was an apartment. Now we had the smallest double room I have ever seen in a hotel...taking into account that we stayed only one night it didn't bother us too much. The breakfast is excellent.

I was exceedingly pleased with the hotel Anna. It was exactly the kind of place that appeals to me. A small, I think family-run place. The room was very clean and cleaned daily. The staff was very polite and friendly. The free internet in the lobby is a great convenience. I liked the location. Kind of off the big boulevards but a short walk to public transportation. Actually the whole city was walkable from the hotel. A very good find.

Nice quiet location. Easy walk to city centre, near good buses and trains. Area felt safe and non threatening.Prices OK. Accomodation not exciting but adequate and comfortable, clean etc. Breakfast OK. No bar or residents areas to talk of.No hot drink facilities. Good base if you're out all day.

This hotel was in a pretty good location and easy to find -even after a late night out! Breakfast was so-so but included in the price. No bath just a shower room which worked but wasn't brilliant. Don't buy a bottle of water from them - they charged about 4 times the price of the local spar! However, for the location and the helpful staff it's very good value for money.

Great value for time of year that we visited. Room was very large, comfortable and well kept. Great location just a couple of blocks from the Metro. Would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again

Hotel is OK. Not much to write home about - we suspect there is better value in Budapest. Not impressed with the filthy towels in the bathroom. Breakfast is included and is also OK. Overall impression is that this place tries to get by on the cheap.

Although the price differed slightly to that on the internet, the hotel offered excellent value for money and exceeded our expectations by a long way. The breakfast included in the price was really good. We would definitely recommend this hotel, especially to low budget travellers, but we have often paid a lot more and never been all that impressed.

I loved the hotel and the staff was just so helpful and nice. Since we are non smokers we usually get put on the top floors and this hotel has an elevator which was great. They also have a fabulos resturant where the food was delicious and in great price. We really enjoyed our stay.

Hotel Anna is a good choice if you can get a deal on the price of the room. The buffet breakfast (if you can get that included in the price) is decent and there is lots of it. The rooms are certainly spartan and feel rather institutional, but they are clean. A remote control for the TV and a non-rotary phone would have been nice. The staff varied in helpfulness and I wouldn't have relied on any of them to go out of their way for their guests. The location is a little scary at night, although it is certainly close to public transportation hubs and within 15 to 20 minutes walking distance of the Danube and the Chain Bridge. Overall, Hotel Anna is a decent choice for the money.

Very pleased overall. Staff was very helpful, one especially took the time to acquaint me with local shopping opportunites. Breakfast was excellent. Anna is easy to find; from downtown take either the metro or Bus No. 7 to within a five to ten minute walk of the hotel. Was especially pleased with the quiet surroundings. Would stay again.

An excellent small hotel providing excellent service. Slightly disturbed by customers talking in the courtyard at night but we would nevertheless gladly stay here again. It is very pleasant and convenient for sight-seeing.

L'albergo è a non più di 15 minuti a piedi dal centro.La zona sembra un po trascurata ma è tranquilla.Ci sono negozi e bar nelle vicinanze,la metro dista appena 300 metri.Le stanze tranquille e pulite.Per una tripla abbiamo pagato per 3 notti 80 euro a persona!Piu che conveniente!

Was a cute hotel, had everything required. Bathroom was tiny. Had all we needed, easy to book taxis from hotel. Area around wasn't that great. Could still walk places.

As described - not the best part of town and watch out for the pay-and-display parking if you're going to arrive by car - I got a ticket within the two minutes it took to get the gate opened to allow me to park in the hotel garden. The staff were excellent, really helpful and very pleasant to talk to. I had to leave early so I can't comment on breakfast.

Maybe they could refresh a bit the rooms or make them more cosy, more romantic, it looks like a "post communist", minimalist. Fresh fruits are missing at breakfast. staff very friendly and hotel very convenient closed to everything and quite.
