exterior The 4-star Casa Sol Hotel is situated in the center of Budapest on one of the city’s main avenues, near the Grand Boulevard, which is the main traffic artery of the city, so all the most important tourist attractions are easy to reach on foot; bus, metro and tram stops are only a short walk’s distance.

The Hotel Casa Sol was built in 2006, it has 38 traditional European style nonsmoking rooms. The size of our standard rooms is over average, 30-35 sqm and our 4 suites are 60-66 sqm.

All the rooms have a friendly, cozy atmosphere, of course a private bathroom belongs to them and have rich equipment: air conditioning, telephone, radio, television, work desk, comfortable chairs, WiFi free of charge, hairdryer and European power sockets serve the comfort of our Guests. Furthermore, all of our rooms have a kitchen with hotplate and fridge, on request we can provide microwave oven, coffee maker and kitchen equipment.
For our handicapped Guests we have a room suitable for their needs.

How to reach Casa Sol Hotel

By car
From M1/M7 Motorway:
Coming to Budapest from the direction of Italy or Vienna on the M1/M7 motorway, you just have to follow the big green signs leading you to Budapest center through „Petofi-híd” (Petofi bridge).
Just follow the main road, do not turn, toward city center. When you cross the Danube on "Petofi Bridge", keep going straight on Jozsef korut (=Ring Boulevard). After the bridge count 6 traffic lights, (cca. 900 m from the bridge), and you will see a McDonald's on the right side. Turn right at this light, onto Baross Avenue. After the 4th traffic light you will see the Casasol Hotel on the left.

By train
From Keleti (Eastern) railway station:
Take the bus 7 for 4 stops and get off at Astoria station.
From there, take bus 9 in front of Astoria Hotel for 5 stops and get off at the stop called Koszuru Street. The Hotel Casa Sol is 70m to the left.

From Déli (Southern)railway station;
Take the M2 Metro line (red line subway), and get off at Astoria station.
Then take bus 9 from the front of Astoria hotel for 5 stops and get off at the stop called Koszuru Street. The Hotel Casa Sol hotel is 70m to the left.

From Nyugati (Western) railway station:
Take the M3 Metro line (blue line subway) and get off at Deak ter. Then take bus 9 for 6 stops, and get off at stop called Koszoru Street. The Hotel Casa Sol is 70m to the left.


By airplane
If You arrive to Budapest Hungary by airplane :
You can always take a taxi at the Budapest airport. They usually charge a fixed price of cca. 20 Euros to Budapest center or to our Hotel. The ride is cca. 15 km, and takes about 20-30 minutes at normal traffic.

You can also take the Minibus Service at the airport. They have a desk in the Arrival Terminal, immediately after you walk out of the baggage area.

By public transportation
Take the blue bus at the airport. At the end of the line you arrive to the subway station. Take the subway and get off at Kalvin Square.
Take bus 9 on Kalvin square for 4 stops and get off at stop called Koszoru Street. The Hotel Casa Sol is 70m to the left.
