This place was OK for the price. It was very clean, but the beds/sheets/towels/carpet were ratty. The bathroom and AC were very nice. The location, although in Pest (which isn't very nice) was convenient since there was a bus stop 30m away and a market right next to it. The buses ran very frequently and take you to the important parts of the city. We stayed here because of the price and walking distance from the train station. Skip the walking, though, and just take the bus. In general, don't spend much time in Pest - take the bus across the river to Buda.

Venere guest get the poorest rooms on the top. No remote controll for the tv-set. One bed was demaged with a "great valley". Breakfest is poor. Credit card was not accepted, only euros. This was our first and last stay there.

This is an inexpensive hotel if you are used to prices in mpre develpoed european countries and i do not expect miracles at tghis price, which is actually not so cheap for Hungarians in the local economy. However, the towels were worn out and some had holes - not really acceptable! btreakfast fwell short of what was eassily possible - synthetis orange juice and cold coffee in a very poor pump flak. Worst was the payment - i was asked to pay in cash on the second day of a three day stay (they clearly did notz want a dredit dard payment). I had to go to a cash machinee, as i was asked twice - they seemed to prefer euros to the official local currency, but i had no euros. Then when i left the girl asked for more money, saying i had only paid for two days, as I had not been given a bill or receipt for the payment i had made (which i assumed to be the total, in an unfamiliar currencey), i was not sure if this was correct. The manageres3 said she had only been there for three weeks, but that was how the place was operating. I suggested she should do something to improve their procedeures. I have never been asked to pay part or all of a hotel biill in the MIDDLE of a three day stay! TZhey had my credit card rdetails from the Venere booking. The directions and map you provide to find this hotel are TOTALLY INADEQUATE, it was very difficult to find by car, in fact it was in a good location and woukld be easy to find with prooper directions and a üproper map: This is a MAJOR FAULT of your site, which is otherwise very good! But the maps and directions are often USELESS, and i see this criticism in many other reports - please do somethingt about this, as other sites are much better in this respect.
