Perfect location, close to metros, trams, Gerbeaud, Opera. A few steps away from fresh bakery, 24/7 supermarket, internetcafé. Perhaps a room not facing the street as it can be noisy at night.

Excellent small hotel located in the heart of the action on the Pest side. Not on the river but only a short walk. Highly professional staff. My room was perfect. The windows were huge with bright light but a nice added touch was the full black-out curtains. The great breakfast in a sunny atrium was included in the very reasonable price. I will definitely stay there again. Highly recommended!

Overall a very nice hotel located in the center of Budapest - we did not have to use public transport at all! We mostly met families and middle aged couples in the hotel. What I would recommend is to go to Memento Park - there you will get an impression of how the communists worked, very interesting.

The centre of the city is very near. The breakfast is good and the hotel is quite clean. However our bedroom had a strange smell because, in my opinion, they didn't clean the filter of the conditioning air system. Very good the relationship between price and quality.

My single room was excellent -- modern and clean. The WiFi service that was included and flat-screen TV were a great addition. The mini-bar was sufficiently stocked. A mini-safe was much appreciated. An the bathroom was bright, clean and modern. I had a room on the courtyard and was happy that, along with AC, I was able to open the windows for fresh air. The breakfast area was nice, too, with a glass roof. The location, near the busy hub of Déak Tér, was very convenient. Kiràly Utca has been successively renovated over the past few years and is a good place to be. I have travelled to Budapest many times over the past ten years and usually stay with local friends. For a series of reasons I had to be in a hotel this time and was greatly pleased to have found this place. It provided a very positive and pleasant experience and, so, I would highly recommend the CARAT to all visitors.

Great location in the centre of Budapest. We (2 adults, one kid 15years) stayed over a weekend and enjoyed it very much. In few minutes you are in the walking area and in the shopping mile of the "vaci ut". It wasn't necessary to use the Metro for sightseeing. Garage is pretty close around the corner.

Hotel Carat Budapest offers 51 guest rooms, 4 of them with balconies, and those on the first floor with parquet floor. Half of the accommodations feature bathtubs, while the others have a shower cabin.Further accommodation amenities include direct dial telephone, mini bar, free high-speed and wireless Internet access, laptop-compatible safe, air-conditioning, and hairdryer. The LCD satellite and pay TV, also serves as PC, using the wireless keyboard featured in the rooms.
All rooms are non-smoking rooms. Two of the rooms are designed for disabled guests. Laundry and ironing service are provided on request.

How to reach Carat Boutique Hotel
By carFrom Vienna, or Prague: you will be traveling on motorway M1, then M1/M7. As you get closer to city you will see signs for bridges. Follow the Erzsébet-híd (Elizabeth Bridge) sign. Cross the bridge on the Danube and turn right, then keep going straight. By the 2nd traffic light, turn left, then straight for about 0.65 miles/1 km, and turn right at the traffic light. Pass the first big intersection (Andrássy str.), and take the first street to your right (Káldy Gy u.), then the 2nd street to your right (Király u.). After a little bit, you will reach the Hotel Carat Budapest.
By train
From the Keleti train station (East), and the Déli train station (South): take the underground no. 2 to Deák tér. Then walk to Király u. Street. From here it is just 100 meters to the Hotel Carat Budapest, which is located on the left side of the street.
