This 4 star Budapest hotel's building actually dates back to the 14th Century and was built as a merchant's house. Its history is inextricably intertwined with the fortunes of the city, and its cellar was used for hiding refugees during the occupation of Budapest by the Turks in the 16th century.

my boyfriend and i went to Budapest for spring break. this hotel was a little out of our price range, but since it was our last destination of our trip (2 locations prior to Budapest), we decided to take it easy and have a more Leisure stay. this location was right in the castle district area which was perfect for our sightseeing and our walks into the Pest side of Budapest. Although this hotel is on a hill, we really enjoyed the quietness, the location, and the area in general. i highly recommend this place although a bit pricey. --but sometimes its nice to spend a little more for something really good!!

Is a Hotel placed in the middle of the historic part in Buda, we recomend it, and if we'll visit Budapest sure we'll be in Buda Castle!!!

By bus
From Budapest City Center: take the no. 16 bus to the Dísz tér stop, and then walk to the hotel.
From Moszkva Square (the last stop of the M2 (red) Metro Line: take the no. 10 bus to the Bécsi kapu tér stop, and then walk to the hotel.
