Hotel Michelangelo - Bucharest

Rooms clean We had two rooms = the double in th emain building was very nice but the apartment in the older building had a shower door that didn't close properly and water ended up all over the floor. Staff was not very helpful and we felt as though we were imposing. Internet was only available in the lobby and it was slow. Breakfast was not as nice as other places we have stayed in Romania - they said there was a charge for a second cup of coffee. We needed to leave our bags for a few hours after check out and they seemed unhappy about that. The front desk could not break a 100 lei for us when we checked in. The only place they suggested for dinner was some distance by cab although there were other nice restaurants nearby. Parking is unsecured street parking.

Very confortable and the atention of the staf was great.

Hotel is very conveniently located, close to the main city street. All employees were very helpful and spoke good English. Hotel does not have dining facilities, but there are some very good restaurants in the same street (e.g. an excellent Thai restaurant).
