Hotel is a fine business place. Nothing bad, nothing particularly good except the people at reception, really friendly and competent. Breakfast is average.

The room was indeed too small, really, too small, with no place to leave the luggage even, and there was only a single bed... but the room was clean! the breakfast was ok, nothing spectacular, but ok, not a lot of noise in the evening. But the location, really, the location is incredible good, you are at a walking distance of every single nice spot in brussels, and very, very close to the metro train station. this is the nice thing about the hotel, if you are a single traveler and looking to save some bucks, this hotel is ok.

Eh, this hotel was the least nice of our stay, but for the price and location, it was still worth it!

Nice hotel, very well located. I got a quiet room, although there are rooms in the frontside that can be very noisy. Good bathrooms. Wifi in the bedroom worked well to.

While my expectations were not high given the price paid I was dissapointed in the size of the room and the cleanliness was questionable giin the bedroom giventhe dust andbuildup in the window area and toilet paper used to stuff into the window frame. The bed was a single and I found it better to make my bed in the morning rather than wait for the staff. The position was excellent in location to the main square but if you arrived home late on the main street there were a lot of fairly questionable characters around. The bathroom looked recently renovated so no problems there breakfast was minimal but adequate staff were friendly enough

Hotel Saint Nicolas offered a very good srvice with a very good cost/benefit relation. If you book in advance the prices are reasonable and the rooms are very good. Good to mention the employees are quite helpful and all of them speak English. The best thing about the hotel is definitively the location.

We enjoyed our stay, however we would like to make the following remarks: 1) the airconditioning on the roof top was making a very loud noise which was only bearable by closing the windows! 2) the breakfast was ok, however the machine coffee tasted awful (how about putting 2-3 cans with coffee and tea instead?) and the eggs were boilt for too long (green colour and nasty smell) 3) the plastic cover under the matrass gives a very cheap feel (Hotel Formula 1) - is this really necessary? 4) the TV has a remote control with teletext but the TV itself lacks this 5) we liked the reproductions of Klimt and other painters on the walls in the corridors and in the breakfast room very much

We stayed 4 nights-Thursday to Monday for a late autumn break. We were very pleased with the hotel which is in a splendid position near both the Grand-Place and the Bourse Metro(tram) station. They are re-doing the exterior, but that would not have worried us in any case. Our room was excellent value, quite large, with a large, fully adjustable radiator and a fan heater in the bathroom, the curtains were well lined, the beds comfortable and there was adequate furniture. The breakfast was very good and included in the price. Coffee as good as could be expected! We would definitely stay there again. We have used Venere.com twice now and each time found it most reliable, thank you.

Great place to stay except for the sex shop and casino down below, the guys down on the street were yelling till about 4 am so I had to sleep with the windows shut in 70 degree weather and no ac. It was quite uncomfortable, insist on a room that is not street side.

Ficaria novamente neste hotel

Generally a very good, clean, welcoming hotel in the heart of Brussels. A bit noisy with music throughout most of the night - may have been as a result of Christmas revelry. Decent varied breakfast - overall very good value for money.

The room is nice, but I think the quoted price is a little bit high. Tha location is good, but the front door is too small to find.
