Front desk services were bad as demarkation of duties amongst staff hindered service to guests. When concierge asked for assistance referred to checkin & vice versa with not a real service attitude. Method of obtaining taxi on departure cumbersome ( usually reception rings for taxi on check out if taxi rank not associated with hotel ) but in this instance we waited for 25 minutes for the concierge to hail a taxi passing by the hotel

Typical large hotel. Everything was ok, but impersonal. About what you'd expect from any large hotel.

Very nice hotel, in the center of the city and near at the metro. The room was clean and nice but the temperature of air conditionated was too cold.

The hotel calls itself a 5 star hotel. It is not a 5 star, it is a 3 star by my opinion. However, the prices are 3 star and the location is great so as long as you do not expect 5 stars you will be very happy with your stay.

Fantastic location- near the Grand Place and walking distance from the central station. Price was very good. Cold shower on the last day we were there. Staff helpful, but didn't go out of their way. Slightly lacking charm. Great workout room. Room was small but adequate.

We got a really good deal on venere.com. However I do not feel that we got a 5-star room from that 5-star hotel. Don't get me wrong, everything was ok with the room. Just not what I was expecting to find in a 5-star hotel. Is it fair to complain after receiving a 3-star room when you pay a 3-star price? Probably not. So I won't!

Grand Place is right around the corner, and the Casino is across the street. Avoid the tourist restaurants, and enjoy the beer!

We loved staying at the Hotel Royal Windsor Grand Place. The price, I received from venere, was reasonable and once I arrived and saw the location, lobby and room - the reasonableness of the price went up. The staff were super and very helpful. The room apportionments were top scale, classy. As suggested on venere, I requested a room away from the main street and given the luxurious room, wonderful mattress, etc., I slept until 11:00 am!! I would unhesitatingly recommend this hotel, right after I plan another trip to Bruxelles and this great place.

We have been to Brussels few times and this was first time we stayed in Royal Windsor Hotel. This time it was absolutely best accomodation with very nice and helpful staff, also best value for money. If you want to be in the center of Brussels - 100 m from Grand Place this is the place to stay.

Room was way to noisy. It was on the side above the restaurant and the music started at about 11:00 pm! Room AC was broken and it took a day to fix so that left us with a hot room for the night.

Exactly as described, but the quality of the room fittings exceeded my expectations. Great location, close to the main square. Good gym facility and we would stay there again no question.

The overall experience was very good. Location is very convenient ... five minutes or less to Grand Place, and close to the Gare Central rail station. The only negatives were (1) the exhorbitant price for breakfast, which we declined (There are some small restaurants nearby which offered reasonably priced breakfast choices), and (2) the convenient bar on the ground floor did not open until 6 PM. Prior to that one has to go to a pub bar in the basement, at the far end of the building.

The room was adequate, but view was very poor (brick wall). Despite this, very nice facilities (excellent appearance and staff) and great location near main old town, marketplace, musuems, shops and other tourist sites.

Excellent hotel. Great location. Short walk to Central rail station and very close to Grand Place Market.

Room was tiny, but well outfitted. Unfortunately, it faced the street and the casino across the street had a late night, very noisy crowd exiting in the wee hours. ask for a room away from the street. Otherwise, all was lovely.

Hotel was just as expected and desired based on venere.com traveler reviews. The location is excellent, a short walk from central train station and to Brussels' Grand Place. The train from the airport was cheap and easy. Rooms were adequate size, clean, with a nicely appointed bathroom. Can be noisy across from new Casino, but double windows in our room worked as did the Air Conditioning.Would patronize again & recommend. Good value/cost and price point for our needs.

The location of the hotel was excellent, it was very clean and the rooms were very quiet. The only bad thing I could say about the hotel was that the rooms were a bit on the small side....

We were very pleased with the Hotel. It was decorated nice with christmass things. It was right near the Grand Place and that was most important. Too bad the bar isn't nice, so we didn't have drink after dinner en before going to bed.

Conviniednt location. Close to main station. You can walk down many places. Hotel staff are very friendly and polite. When we could not open the safty box, staff came and helped within 5min. When we need some extra to towel they brought very quickly. Just one thing made me disappointed was our toilet door lock was broken and hard to close.Except for this i am very satisfied with this hotel.Compare to other website and walking rate, this price was reasonable.
