Very good location, very poor breakefast, but there is a compensation if you think that is clean , cheap, and near to the best places to visit.

The hotel is centrally located, the rooms are clean an large enough. The breakfast is served at the table (no buffet) but it is very good and rich. Nevertheless, the pictures at the Venere-site are a bit misleading: there the hotel looks like upper middle-class but it is solid standard and not more. At least my room needs an urgent refurbishment. It was very noisy because it was towards a main road and the windows are not that soundproof. Maybe you have to pay that much money for a hotelroom in Brussels but I think it this was too expensive compared to what is offered.

The room smelled awful, was very old and not clean (mildew in the shower and bathroom). The place is an old hotel not very well maintained. Don't be fooled by the attractive pictures!

We were extremely pleased with the hotel. Our room was large, airy, and attractive; the desk service, particularly that by Riema, was superb. We easily rented a car (delivered and picked up at the hotel), booked tours, and received fine restaurant recommendations. The hotel was indeed within walking distance to the Grand Place and Brussel's many fine museums. Price, a reasonable one for the spacious room, was that quoted by Venere. As New Yorkers, we were not bothered by the modest street noise. We would happily stay there again.

Al nostro arrivo avevano il pc fuori uso e quindi abbaimo aspettato un po' per avere le camere ma si vedeva che il personale si faceva in quattro per risolvere il problema. Abbondante colazione. Ottima posizione abbastanza centrale.

Good location,10 minutes walk from Grand Place.Clean,tidy,polite staff.The only complaint is relatively high noise level coming from neighbouring boulevard Adolphe Max, but it's a price for staying in a very centre of Brussels.

How to reach Hotel Président Nord

By car
From the E19 highway, drive along the Ring until you arrive at the rounabout Brussels (Koekelberg) – Ostend - Mons/Bergen. Take exit no.10 Brussels/Koekelberg and proceed straight on until you reach the Basilique. You are in Avenue Charles Quint. Take the tunnel and then exit at Centre/Centrum/Rogier/Botanique. Drive straight on until you reach the 4th traffic light and then turn right. You are in Boulevard Adolphe Max where the hotel is located.

From the E40 highway, take the Centre Bruxelles exit and follow the Centre/Rue de la Loi direction, until the Schuman Place square. Take Rue de la Loi street. At the crossroad turn right and take the tunnel until the third exit Rogier/Jacqemain/pte Anvers. At the traffic light take the main road on your left side, which goes parallel to the street you are in. Straight on and turn left at the second traffic. You are in Boulevard Adolphe Max where the hotel is located.

By airplane
From the Zaventem Brussels airport, take the train service connecting the airport to the main Brussels train stations. Get off at the Gare du Nord station and follow the directions for city centre/ Rogier. Cross the Place Rogier square and take Boulevard Adolphe Max, where the hotel is located.
