The room was very small. I personally don't like moquettes in the room. The location is the best part of the story.

Beautiful room, but more expensive than we expected due to being there mid-week (initially I booked for a Friday at 119 Euro, but when I changed it to Thursday it became 159) Excellent breakfast, great location

We stayed in a 4 person room. It was quite big, quiet, big bathroom, very clean, just perfect. The breakfast was good and we were in a great location in the latin quater.

The reception is very friendly and competent. The room, although clean, makes an oldish impression. Rooms towards the street are facing horrible noise from late tourists and trucks for delivery or garbage in the early morning. This is only bearable with closed windows or ear-plugs.

Very suitable hotel just a few steps from the Grand'Place/Grote Markt. I will repeat there if I ever go to Bruxelles/Brussel again, no doubt.

Grandparents, parents & grandson traveling together. Bathroom was gleaming clean, a big plus. Room spacious. No frills, but good value. Excellent breakfast. Mid-week, area quiet so we don't know how weekend would be. One block from restaurants, near Grand Place, near Place Brouckere. We travel a lot & would stay here again.

Location is perfect, staff is wery friendly. But the last night we stayed it was wery noisy because of the couple next door. Hotel is small and old but nice. Good enough to stay for a few days.

We stayed at a grand suite (4 people room) and we found it great. Quiet, clean, spacious. Very friendly and competent staff, very good breakfast served. Right in the center of Bruxelles. Excellent quality/price ratio. Really Really recommended.

I really recommend everyone, nice receptionist, very large room, fresh breakfest (included in prize), good location and the price very advantegous. During my stay I found only one fault it was very noisy at night as in front of the hotel are many restaurants. After all I higly recommend.

Our family of two parents and 2 teenagers stayed in 2 rooms. The room facing the street had a lot of noise at night, from people leaving bars and restaurants. Windows could not be opened "just a bit". Better windows would have helped. Rooms are small, but have everything you need. Staff was very helpful, especially a guy named Said. Breakfast was efficiently arranged and very good. Other than the street noise, we liked our stay there.

This hotel was in close proximity of the main attractions: Grand Place, museums, shops, restuarants etc. The staff were very accomodating and courteous. Great price for location. Rooms facing the side street have noise due to late night people walking the streets being loud in the morning. Windows closed help knock out most of the noise.

More than a hotel, it looks like a scout camp. Not beds, uncomfortable folding camp beds. Furniture, carpets needs to be refurbished.

Hotel Opera is in a terrific location with much to see within walking distance. The quadruple hotel room had enough room for two adults and two older children (13 and 11). Bring ear plugs at night because there is activity outside the hotel and it is quite noisey. The bathroom was very clean and the room itself was acceptable, given the rate. The continental breakfast was typical and nothing special. We'd go back.

We arrived early and check-in went smoothly, discovered our room was facing the street. We asked if we could be moved to a quieter room, and that was no problem. The rooms were clean and tidy, reception staff was very friendly and multilingual, breakfast was "okay". The shower took awhile to heat up, but that was minor. Location is everything! 1 block from the Metro, 1 block from the Square, 2 blocks from the train station- the central location was well worth it.

Location of the hotel is less than 3 blocks to the Grande Place. Lots of good eateries nearby as well. Hotel staff could not have been more helpful. I would stay here again in a minute.

Very good for price and location 5 mins to grand place. rooms very tiny though and no locks on bathroom doors. Also noise can easily be heard through walls from other rooms

Hotel is located only a few minutes to walk to Grand place and only a few minutes more to walk to railway station. Staff was very friendly indeed. We ordered a quiet room as we booked this hotel and we got one which had the window out to the backyard. Breakfast was o.k.

Fantastic staff. We arrived very late & there had been some sort of leak in the ceiling over our quad room, so we were quickly moved to two double rooms across the hall from one another at no extra cost. Nice decor. One complaint: the hotel name was very hard to locate at night on the building, so we missed it the first couple of times. Great location for restaurants & bars.

I would highly recommend Hotel Opera! The location is the best quality, just within a minute's walk of Ilot Sacre and a 5 minute's walk to the Grand Place. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and the price was right. We were entirely satisfied with our stay!

The location is very convenient to the Metro as well as to tourist sites and restaurants. The breakfast was adequate but the fact that it was available until 10 a.m. was much appreciated. The biggest complaint is the lack of air-conditioning. With the heat of summer, one must sleep with the windows open and the mosquitos are intolerable. Due to the fact that we were eaten alive by the mosquitos, we would not stay at this hotel again during summer months.

A nice hotel, staff friendly enough. Rooms that overlook Rue Gretry can be a little noisy with windows open on a hot night, as the street is full of bars and restaurants, but we found this a bonus not a huge inconvenience. Nice and close to major sights.

We needed to have the windows open due to the hot weather and the outside traffic and pedestrian noise was incredible! Partiers until the early morning hours - bars close at 5:00 AM! Little sleep possible due to the noise. I'm sure in the cooler weather the hotel would be great.

Tiene una excelente situación en el centro de Bruselas a unos minutos de Grand-Place y cerca de la estación central. La estructura del edificio es vieja pero tanto el mobiliario como los baños estan nuevos.Para conocer la ciudad es estupendo.

The Hotel Opera was quite comfortable with pleasant, helpful personnel.Breakfasts were delightful with meat, cheese, eggs, and even chocolate/hazelnut paste to put on the croissants or rolls. The elevator was tiny, but worked perfectly. Close to the Grand Place, shops, and restaurants. Great for a short or long stay.

We have stayed at a 4 bedroom for 4 nights, and it was spacious enough with a big bathroom and new furniture. I have to say that relation quality-price it´s really good, specially for a hotel so centrally located, in a street with lots of restaurants and close to all touristic attractions and also to public transport. I highly recommend it!

The room was spacious and a nice color. The only problems were a drippy faucet and the girl forgot to write down that we needed a wake-up call.
