Stay elsewhere. Although the hotel is nice, the owner is not. I'm sorry to say that he was not friendly or helpful, and was not forthcoming with any advice when I asked for directions from the hotel to areas of interest. On my way to the airport, the taxi driver asked me what I thought of the hotel, I told him it was nice, but then hesitated and told him that it was nice - but then confided that the owner was not friendly or helpful. The cab driver told me the owner had been quite rude to him as well on the phone, and recommended that I stay elsewhere if visiting Brussels again. I think that says it all.

A quiet street. Breakfast was okay (enough food, but only the basics). Bathroom : a shower, no bath. The guy who welcomed us was nice. Near the touristic area.

Receptionists leave the hotel for nights and if you have noisy neighbours or other questions or problems- nobody will help you. Neighbours were very noisy. Also no minibars in the rooms

The hotel room was alright agreeing with the price level. However, the breakfast was far too primitive: no fruit - except apples, no oatflakes, no youghurt naturelle, no müesli, the bread was just white bread (but that is probably just customs). Due to the breakfast I would probably not return unless it was improved. I had to buy breakfast outside the hotel in shops.

I arrived late, but staff is still welcome. Hotel is clean. And my breakfast was in the backyark, unbelivable beautiful. I did not know this hotel is on a small hill, so I walked from Brussels MIDI, then I found I was wrong, TIRED. Haha. Generally, this is a good hotel for stay couple days, if you are not a drunk-lover.

The accommodation is pretty basic, the hotel being quite well situated in relation to Avenue Louise. The TV was not working in my room, and for a room priced at €69, I found it strange that the desk-clerk could not give me €1 in change in the morning.

I found the young guy who works there unfailingly pleasant and welcoming; the owner on the other hand has a swinish look and demeanour and makes no effort whatever to hide his couldn't-give-a-damn attitide. The room - a "double" - was tiny (as in 10ft by 15), the pillow was made of hard foam and there was no security box in the room. I would not call this place a hotel.

This hotel is a great place to base out of to see Brussels. It's about 10 minutes walking from the Louise metro line with decent restaurants nearby. The price is perfect for what you get, which is a clean room and okay breakfast. When we stayed here there was some kind of construction going on outside, so maybe ask for a room not on the street side of the hotel to be sure you have quiet.

The Hotel is small and rather cheap. The room was really spacious and practical. Wonderful!Good breakfast, we only missed some brown bread. Friendly staff. A quiet and nice hotel that we would recommend for everyone who does not want a disco at the hotel.

A nice, very clean little hotel in a quiet, seemly and slightly bohemian neighbourhood. Rooms are spacious and well-equipped. Service was friendly and generally unobtrusive. Don't expect much from the continental breakfast, as it is rather basic and unvaried - though it definitely serves its purpose. Note the good and always convenient supply of apples. The hotel has a homely feel to it, it's more like a private apartment building, where a visitor is provided with a key to open the front door at any time of day or night. That's why you should always double confirm a late check-in, because at night there can be nobody at the reception. On the whole, this is a very nice and cosy hotel, excellent in terms of quality to price ratio.

The hotel is far from the centrum (3km), unlike the apparentness of the map of Venere. Person in the reception unuseful: he was always absent. A man hitting the walls at 8:00 am!!

WEbsite showed picture of pool table. However, when we got there this was used as a breakfast table. Directions told wrong tram line - said you could get 82, this is wrong. Good place to stay if on budget. Good tram links into centre, only 5 mins walk to tram stop. However, wouldn't recommend for single womem due to having to do this walk back late at night.

This was one of the best budget-priced hotels I stayed in during my month long trip in Europe. The hotel has a lift. The room was cheerfully decorated, had a TV with some English language channels, and the en suite bathroom was awesome. The shower was one of those deluxe kinds with six additional sprayers. I think the room had recently been redone. The location wasn't bad. Not central, but easily accessible by tram and Metro. The directions on the website are incomplete (only gives you the tram stop and doesn't tell you where to go from there) and that was a bit of a bear. (Exit Janson stop, turn left on main road -- Charlesroi, I believe) and the hotel's street is about 2 blocks down). The hotel is in a more locally inhabited area than touristy which is a bonus I think. There were restaurants in the neighborhood. The manager isn't the warm and friendly type but very efficient which was all I really needed for checking in and out. The price was really good for Brussels and I would absolutely stay there again.

I was alone. The innkeeper was courteous and helped me with a taxi the next morning. The room was much larger than I expected. The bedspread seemed dated, but clean. My only complaint is that there was a picture of Madonna and Child where the head of the Child has been replaced by the head of an adult male. This was unnecessary and offensive. I would stay here again, but ask that the artwork be removed from the room. Great room for the value.

The bathroom should be more secured . You can slide and get down "easily" ...at least, the "60's" users must pay attention when the ground is wet..

The satellite TV was not working in my room. Also the shower was small (if you are a large person) and there were not enough towels or soap. Breakfast was adequate. Need better directions if you are coming by public transportation which was a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. Good deal for the price.
