Hotel Manhattan - Brussels

No WiFi. The website said it was free. Website said brkfst will be served 7am onwards. Nothing was served till 7.30 am.

Big Problems of Cleanliness of rooms, with mites and bugs.

Very old hotel but cheap

The room was a little bit disappointed (dirty carpet, broken down bathroom) and the breakfast was poor (bun, only one kind of salami, jam, lukewarm coffee, tea and that's all).

Hotel not 3 stars but maximum 1.

The rooms were dark and dingy. When running a bath the water was brown and iron filings poured out the taps too.

Oldfashioned hotel with a good location. Excellent internet access, but only at floor level, where there was very limited space.

The Hotel have few positive features: rooms are no space, the bathroom has no dry-phone, the breakfast was the worst I have had in Brussels (little choice and bad coffee). The only positive thing was the price

Noise problems were caused by other guests, no streetnoise, so this might have been a singular event, but it was really annoying. People shouting, running up and down the staircases and banging the doors all night.

Small and dirty room, torn bed linen, a far cry from the promising picture on the webpage. It was impossible to use a shower, since they never had warm water in it. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone unless you have to stay on the street.

The room was smelling of smokeness strongly, even if the request had been for a no smokers room. the break and kindness of the employers were very poor.

I would have rated this hotel higher had it not been for the unappealing surroundings. It is true that it is just by the High Street and the metro but it is also in Brussel's red lights district. It is not recommended to be out and about there late at night. The decor is old and shabby but it is hard to find a hotel at the same price in central Brussels so if your priority is price it is all right, if confort - you should go elsewhere. One other thing - you need to pay extra for the internet and it is only available at reception level.

This hotel is only 10 mins walk from the Train station Gare du Nord, quite convenient. But it's very old, with smelling from the old decoration of this room. i doubt that the decoration is at least 20-30 years old. But it's still quite clean. And there's no internet connection at all in hotel or room as indicated in website.They only have a internet shop near by which is only open from morning to afternoon and very expensive. So I would suggest the website to correct the discription for internet access. And the lift is also very old and it takes long time to wait for it to get down or up.

Hotel was nice but its quite an old hotel so some areas can really need a remodelling. The elevators were installed in 1968. If you are in the city for a few days and just need a place to bunk for the night this is great. and being in the heart of the city

The bathrooms is a bit basic and the bed too soft but the service is fine.
