Hotel Le Plaza - Brussels

Staff was very helpful to us, dealing with problems including lost luggage and a strike in Belgium

A nice hotel with clean and good sized rooms. 10 minutes walk to the city center. Good breakfast and fantastic bar. Overall, this is a very nice hotel to stay in. During check-in, I tried for 10 minutes to convince the staff that my reservation was for B&B. Although, my confirmation was for B&B, they tried to exclude the breakfast for some reason. They provided me the room I wanted later, but this was not an ideal wellcoming.

Very beautiful old building. The room was clean and big but without air-conditioner as advertised. Good location, not far from the city center.

Le stanze sono più piccole e certamente datate per un albergo di questo livello, compresa la deluxe, che peraltro avrebbe dovuto garantire un late check out che non è stato negoziabile (offerto alle 15, richiesto e non concesso ale 16). Il posto è vicino alla metro e centrale (10 minuti a piedi dallla Grand Place e vicino alle strade dei negozi). Proprio di fronte, però, ci sono i locali a luci rosse.

Don't bother asking for a non smoking room or a room with two single beds, you will just have whatever they want and if you are not happy with it they just look bothered and absolutely don't care. In case you're insisting, please note that managers are on vacation or week end. Definitely not a non-smoker friendly place.

I happened to have a malfunctionning Internet connection in my room. We I called to the front desk to request that it be repair they told me that I had to call myself the service provider and that the hotel was not reponsible for those equipments pertaining to Internet access. It took a while for the Internet service provider to come and fix the problem. In the mean time the hotel refused to allow my to change room disclaiming any responsability in those equipments. In general the hotel was very nice but as a business traveler this king of incident is innacceptable...

No breakfast was included in the room price - however, this is indispensable for a 5* hotel.

Cet hotel présente vraiment un très bon rapport qualité prix, ce n'est pas vraiment un cinq étoiles, il manque un certain nombre de petits détails. Cela dit, l'hôtel est parfait pour un séjour dans la capitale belge, les chambres sont parfaitement propres et spacieuses, les salles de bain impeccables. A l'accueil, le personnel est plutôt compétent. Seul petit hic, c'est la situation de l'hôtel, dans une rue un peu triste où il y a quelques vidéos X. Cependant, à 5 mn du centre.

Excellent hotel !!!
