It was just a pity for this good hotel that the Lady at the reception was absolutely incompetent. Also the Lady at the breakfast buffet was so rude that I preferred not to have my breakfast, even I had paid it before. The Hotel management would be well advised to form the personnel about how to deal with customers!

The TV is very small. And when you are seating in the bed the view is restricted. The possibility to have a room, equiped with a network PC, will be appreciated. the sound from the street is high, because there is the stoplight in the corner of 2 big ways.

Reception staff was friendly and professional appartment was a litle bit small, but cosy and well kept.for negative we have to notice that windows look to a very noisy crossroad with a lot of police sirenas and etc, breakfest normall, with good selection of cereals, fried bacon ,omlets.we would recomend it.

It was my first time in Le Dome hotel, I enjoyed it a lot. The staff was welcoming, kind, helpfull. Even I arrived at 10am, my room was ready. The room was very clean, spacious, new.Hotel has a lift. The surroundings is nice, with supermarket few steps, the metro station in front of the hotel, the shopping street round the corner. Breakfast sufficient-sweets, yoghurts, ham, eggs, cheese, fruits, coffee, tea, juice.Only one negative thing-the room was very noisy, from the heavy traffic. If you are not a very good sleeper then you could have a problem.

It was my first time in Brussels. I walked to the hotel from the Midi station and it took me only half an hour. It's really close to the shopping district and like 10 min by walk from all the sights. The room was really big, confortable. The breakfast in the morning excellent and the receptionist really nice. I will definitely suggest Le Dome to my friends!

I booked that hotel, the advertisement stated 4 stars rating, but it refers to the "other half" of the same hotel, named "Le Dome II" which is really 4 stars. The one here is the poor-brother, absolutely not 4 stars, with old furniture, and like a poor 3 stars. Everything is clean, but you can find a big disillusion.

We visited over the new year. The hotel restaurant and bar was open for a few hours at lunch time and in the evening. Both closed by 10pm. The room was quiet, except when emergency vehicles used their sirens. This happened alot after midnight on New Years Eve. The hotel is well placed for the attractions of Brussels, indeed the metro stop is just on the corner. Breakfast was very good, a wide variety of hot and cold food served buffet style. A kettle was provided in the room, which is unusual for continental hotels. The double bed was two twin beds pushed together. Not the most comfortable bed we have experienced.

Everyone was nice, but the place seemed rather shabby, and breakfast was mediocre. Very loud due to heavy traffic, and the air pollution made my eyes water (this has never happened to me before). The price was very good though. If you are interested in an art deco/retro ambiance, it's great.

An excellent hotel compared to Paris for the same price. I was in Paris before Brussels, and so this was a nice change for me. Room is spacious with writing table and high ceiling. And the staff was kind to allow me to check-in earlier than the offical time, and let me left my luggage there after I checked-out, which I collected in the evening. Couldn't ask for more.

Hotel is within walking distace to the centre (10 min), lower rate rooms are noisy if window is open. No airconditioning, only fan. Room was clean and good for a weekend stay. Better hostels offer similar rooms. Value/price is still OK. Double room was booked but twin provided - Internet site is misleading.

I selected this hotel as it is close to business area, Brussels North railway station (train to airport) and very close to city centre. The hotel is old fashioned but clean and quiet: my room was very large, with a double bed and also a sofa. Only one remark; I stayed 2 days, but wireless connection to internet never worked.

Le Dome is a very well maintained old and charming hotel. The room we stayed-in was very spacious and comfortable. The personnel was most attentive. The location is not the best, but not far from Grand Place, about 15 minutes walk. Subway is almost in front of the hotel. Hop-on hop-off bus stops in front of the hotel. The Gare du Nord (North railway station) is 5 minutes walking distance. Breakfast was good too. Very happy with our stay.

Pros: Rooms at Le Dôme are really huge and spacious. The heating is always on, so the hotel room is always with a very nice temperature, even when it is freezing outside. Cons: the avenue where the hotel is situated has lots of traffic, even during the night cars are always passing by and the windows are single glass (not double), so you wake up several times with the noize coming from the street.

The four stars of this hotel are actually 2 and half. The breakfast was poor and always the same. When I arrived at the hotel I have been told that an elevator was out of order. Unfortunately the one that supposed to bring me to the floor where my room was located. There were a couple of workers making some renovation at the same floor where I stayed. Coincidence? Maybe, but for me was enough.

Le Dome was a fine place to stay in Brussels. We had a triple room and it was huge, but the bathroom was older and a little dingy. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the Grand Place, however you can walk down a major shopping street, which is nice. It is easy to get to by car. Overall, I would say that for the price, it was an adequate place to stay. Not super flashy, but not horrible either.

We requested for a triple room because we have three grown ups and two small children, we had a huge room (with four beds) and a small coffee table where we could eat in. The location is close to all the shops and the Grand Place. The tram station is close by. Breakfast was included so you can't go wrong with the price.

The hotel is conviently located in walking distance to the city centre (15') and directly at the Metro. The hotel has had better times, but this is reflected in the price. If you don't spend too much time in the hotel and do not watch TV (really old with wrong setted channels in my room) this hotel is a good choice.

I feel like we were misled. There are two hotels side by side, one a 4 star, and the other a 3 star. The website shows the information for the 4 star, but our reservations were in the 3 star. It was very unsatisfactory. We had 3 rooms for our family. One of the rooms was very cold. We kept calling about it, and we were told they would tend to it immedately (this was the middle of the afternoon). Finally, about 5pm, we were told that they didn't turn on the heat until 5pm, and it was turned off about 7am. That was bad enough, but they could have told us this from the beginning, instead of telling us over and over that they would tend to it. Of the 7 hotels we stayed in while we were in Europe, this was by far the worst.
