It was great to be so close to the train station and the most significant tourist sights. We were only a block and a half from the Grand Place in one direction and the Mannekin Pis in the other. The breakfast was very good. They had a self-serve espresso machine, hard-boiled eggs, various tasty pastries, fresh fruit and other offerings.

Ideal location - very close to Grand Place and just a few blocks from Brussels Centraal train station. The room is not big, but was clean and in very good condition, so it felt quite comfortable to be in. The window looked out on a small interior courtyard, providing a nice breeze and fresh air. The staff was extremely welcoming and very kind throughout our stay. Overall, this is exactly what I look for in an expensive hotel - clean, welcoming, good location.

Proximity to the Grote Markt and the train station was excellent. I really appreciated being able to make tea and coffee in the room. This is standard in U.S. hotels -- and Americans drink a lot more coffee than Europeans!

Excellent position: 2 minutes to the Grand Place and 10 minutes to the station (Gare Centrale). I'll choose this hotel again.

Great location! It's right off the Grand Place, but has its own private courtyard, so it's very quiet, too. The staff was very helpful and friendly and spoke very good English. The room was small, but more than enough for sleeping. Very clean. Good breakfast - rolls, cheese, meats, yogurt, fruit, cereal, hard-boiled eggs. We'll definitely stay there again if we go back.

This property is one that is recommended by Rick Steves in Brussels. The location is ideal especially if you want to take in the greater Brussels area. You'll have to hoof it to the metro station but that only takes a few minutes. The rooms are a tad small and showering without a curtain was rather interesting. In all though, It's a decent value for the money. Their breakfast is quite good as well.

The staff was great. They gladly allowed me into my room hours before the check-in time. This is a great service for international travelers with morning flight arrivals. The location is excellent and I look forward to staying here again.

it's very easy to get to the hotel, from the train station, once you've get lost! i had a king single room and they gave me an enormous twin room. my parents' twin room was even bigger. the breakfast was great. it is amazing this hotel is only two stars, i've been in a four stars hotels (in rome) that they looked half as good as La Legende. its ubication is perfect, between the Maneken Piss and the Grand Place, so get ready to visit all the chocolate shops!

My wife and I spent three nights in the Hotel. Everythink was ok. The employees were very polite and they helped us. The thinks i didn't like... the room, the number 96, was very noisy and it was a twin room not a double, and the least there was a little stain on the bedcover

One can hear the other people taking showers, talk in the room next door. Plus: wooden floor in room instead of carpets. Breakfast room is dark and unfriendly. The buffet selection minimal. I recommend to enjoy a cup of coffee and a croissant in a restaurant nearby.

The metro was a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The Grand Place was even closer.A vast range of eateries and bars close by.Again a wee oasis in the centre of it all.

We were disappointed by the spaciousness of our room. Of course it was "only" a double standard one, but for 90€/night we thought it was a larger one. The quiteness of the room was not very good too, because we heard what happened in the rooms near ours (especially one night when some very uncivic tourists arrived late and with a lot of noise). But it is very well located (2 minutes from the Great place) and we were good welcomed.

Good location, pleasant staff and adequate breakfast. HOWEVER, the walls were so thin we could have joined any conversation in the surrounding rooms.
