First Euroflat Hotel - Brussels

In english: I don't know how hotels get stars but it don't deserve it 4 stars at all!! For reference we got room 301 (third floor) Rooms are really roomy and are clean. that the only positive points about this hotel. Service is bad! I asked for an extra pillow, it was 6 p.m, the clerk looked into the closet behind her and told me that there isn't any there so as the cleaning service is only here on mornings, she can't satisfy my request. But the worst part is to come... they totally failed at soundproofing their rooms, you ear every single car that pass on the street. And the worst part... the curtains aren't opaque at all! And this means not only the sun will wake you up but as there is a neon sign on the building, you'll have troubles falling asleep with all this light. At least we did!! I won't stay there next time! If you're looking for a comfortable long night of sleep, stay away!!!! _____ En français: Je ne sais pas qui donne les étoiles en Belgique mais cet hôtel ne mérite pas du tout ses 4 étoiles. Nous avons eut la chambre 301 (3eme étage). Les chambres sont spacieuses et propres. Ce sont les seuls points positifs de cet hotel. Le service est nul! J'ai demandé un 2eme oreiller, il était 18h, la chargée d'accueil a regardé dans le placard derrière elle et m'a dit que comme il n'y en avait pas là et que le service d'entretien n'est là que le matin, elle ne pouvait pas satisfaire ma demande. Mais le pire est à venir... Ils n'ont pas du tout insonorisés les chambres, on entend chaque voiture qui passe. Et le pire... les rideaux ne sont pas opaques, non seulement le soleil vous réveillera mais comme il y a un néon lumineux sur l'immeuble, vous aurez du mal à vous endormir à cause de toute cette lumière! Je n'y retournerais pas et si vous recherchez une bonne et longue nuit de sommeil, évitez cet hôtel!!

This is an excellent hotel to stay as a couple backpackers. The price is equal to 2 person staying in 6 or 8 dorms room hostels except breakfast is not included. It's very nice to have your own room, clean towels, bathroom and bed upon returning from a day travels. I truly recommend this place for backpackers traveling in pairs.

Well, I've been here often in the last 10 years... Not much has changed over the years. The rooms are the most spacious you can get for the price. OTOH the whole place needs a major upgrade since the furniture and facilities haven't seen any refurbishment aside from paintjobs in years. Another drawback: internet is NOT free and the more ridiculously expensive: 10 EUR/hour. The biggest plus are the convenient location (near the EU Council and Commission offices) and the room size.

I was very impressed by the size and design of the room, as well as the little extras such as the dining table hairdryer, good size television, use of kitchen equipment if required etc. I preferred staying in this studio than I did staying in hotels. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and hotel had everything I could need (including sauna). I was very comfortable and felt safe at First Euroflat. I would definitely recommend it to others.

It is probably my own fault for not checking, but the rooms had no air conditioning and it was HOT!!! The window therefore had to be open and the noise coming from the street was unbearable. We actually checked out a day early and moved to another hotel.
