I did not find the staff to be welcoming. Nobody came to fix a TV, which would not turn on. My room was tiny and shabby, behind a storage area.

No any sincere apologies They don't refill shampoo ,so I ask the reception directly ,he said no shampoo only have soap. What ?? no more shampoo or u just getting lazy at 1am playing your smartphone? And he just hand in a soap to me with no apologies again. This is not a cheap guesthouse , 3 star hotel with this service.. I check out at 5:30am cause I need to catch a bus and i m in hurry I went down to reception, the man just walk out for few step and ask me to wait, he probably going to tolite, he back I said everythings fine? I m in hurry, he Told me I need to pay city tax, He can feels me getting annoying , then he knows how to being good manner and apologies and so on This hotel is not bad , everything is fine but the staffs need serious training lesson. First room I went to smelt strongly of smoke. I got the impression I was not believed when I reported this and asked to move room. The next day there was a change in attitude and I was moved to a new room which was fine. I still had the impression I was a nuisance rather than raising a reasonble objection to being assigned a smelly room.

The walls were quite thin, so we could hear everyone in the hall on our floor and the floors above and below. Also could hear quite a lot from the street. The rooms were spacious and clean, but they were poorly lit. There was only one power outlet, and you had to unplug one of three lamps in order to use it. There were no clocks/alarms in the room either.

The hotel was a short walk from the metro & easy to find. Friendly & efficient front desk staff. Finding my actual room was a challenge as some rooms seemed to be on a mezzanine, mine was behind large glassed wall & I didn't realise it was a room as room number wasn't apparent. That said it wasn't a drama. Room a good size, had a large door to open onto a "balcony" to get fresh air as no air conditioning which I left ajar overnight. A quiet street apart from noisy buttons on the ATM across the street, however I slept soundly. A good variety of restaurants & cafes nearby although not all open on the weekend. Would stay here again.
