Reception staff ok. Chamber maid useless. Room not serviced one morning told reception just replied sorry! 2 in room only one Towel had to ask each day for second towel, when she did take 2 away only left 1. Net curtains need washing bedroom scruffy! Continental breakfast OK breakfast room clean and tidy. At 75euro per night B&B for a small room not good value.

Smoking is allowed everywhere, which is a problem for me as I'm allergic. No reply to the request for a non-smoking room (specifically requested).

I am satisfied with my staying at the hotel and moreover I have recommended the hotel to my colleague

Welcoming enough at reception, but the rooms (mine anyway) need a thorough make-over, a good cleaning, and re-fitting. I wouldn't mind curtains across the second window, a remote for the television, somewhere to hang the shower head. Maybe this is par for the price in Brussels, but I expected a bit better.

The hotel and especially room no. 30 looks like having not been renovated since some 20 years: Dripping taps, hot water could be operated only via the gate valve, rusty shower tub, spoiled and uneven carpets, yellowed wallpaper...

The Hotel is not the best one on earth, that's for sure. It is fine though. I found the staff and landlord very welcoming, nice, charmful and warm indeed. I had a very good stay.

Only 2 stars NOT 4 as on the webpage! Poor breakfast. 2 of 4 days the bed was not made. Very friendly and helpfully people.

The room was clean but was in need of refurbishment. When considering the price, I have just decided to book once more! Breakfast is very simple but if you compare with the price maybe you cannot expect more.

Although Ascot hotel is shown as a 4-star hotel on your website, it was 2-3 star. It might have been 4-star in the 70s but no refurbishment seems to have been made since then in order to maintain the standard. In my room there was a bird's dropping on the wardrobe door and over my 2-night stay, whoever cleaned my room left the bird's dropping there! The Euros 60 per night I paid would have been good value for money if it were cleaner. I suggest you remove the 4-star rating and give it a more realistic 3-star (although I've seen much better 3-star hotels before!)

This is by far not a 4 star hotel as quoted. It looks a lot more like a hostel. It is suited for teenagers mostly, infact there were plenty groups of young kids making extreme noise and the walls are very thin. The location is pretty good however and it is fine for people on a short visit, who only come in to sleep.
