Have bad comments..I have request with my booking a quiet room, but I got just right next to the stairs.Every morning I could hear all the breakfast people coming down from the upper levels.(I know I am weird not to wake up on my holiday for a continental breakfast). The lift is just for one so everybody used the stairs.I asked the girl at the reception if I can make a phone call regarding my rail service(belgium number), but she refused me because my number is an expensive one.She kindly advise some place to make the phone call.It cost 1 Euro..(of course I offered to pay for it). She did not smile when I checked out. For cheap money(155 euro for 3 nights) you can not expect in return, but these moments above were too much for me.AVOID!!!

Don't ever stay in room number 5. It is most likely the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in. The room is located in the backyard on the groundfloor, so it is entered from the outside. This makes it very noisy since the backyard is shared with other houses in the block (divided only by a low wall). There is no threshold, thus there is quite a draft in the room, which is quite inconvenient especially in the winter. The walls are all moldy and the sockets and switches are falling apart and look quite dangerous. Moreover, the room reeked of cigarette smoke (although smoking is prohibited on the premises]. Imagine a what a moldy cellar would smell like in the morning after a bunch of heavy-smokers spent all night partying in it. The wardrobe was broken and full of disused pillows and blankets with missing shelves. Neither the hairdryer nor the electric heating in the bathroom seemed to be in a good shape. Breakfast was decent though and it's rather near the city center.

Good solution for Brussels' sightseeing because it is not too far from the city centre - only about 20 minutes' walk, and much less if you take the bus 92 or 93 to Botanique metro station. There is a lovely church about 10 metres far from the hotel. The hotel was ok, the young lady at the reception very kind and helpful and it was quite good value for the money. Yet, when booking, please consider breakfast is not included in the room's price and it costs 6 euros.

Hotel Albert is in the Schaerbeek District, close to the Sint-Maria church and is accessible via the tram rail line of that name. The staff gave us great attention on check-in even though there was a large group arriving at the same time - very impressive. There is a great nearby bar and excellent resturant.

overall opinion is fine. need some bathroom fixing with the shower water mixing(hot and cold water). the others, great as described. i didn't have that much interaction with the staf but judging from the room cleaning service they should be ok. A nice hotel at the heart og Brussel. i would go there again.

Everything was ok. No fruits were provided in the breakfast. I don't know if this is usual in Brussels, but I would have preferred it. We asked the reception for an "invoice", but they forgot to write it. We asked again, and they said they would have wrote and sent by email. However... I am still waiting..! Anyway, it is a good value for money. My opinion is positive.

About a twenty minute walk from the city center! If it weren't for the snow, the location would have been great for the price. The staff was helpful. They helped us get a taxi, recommended bars, printed my friend's boarding pass, etc.

Great hotel location near the Saint-Maria cathedral, tram and bus stops, and a pair of quarters from Gare Bruxelles Nord, in a step-distance. Small rooms, but there was everything necessary - hairdryer, shower gels and shampoos, enough towels (were chaged daily), daily cleaning. A little bit poor breakfast, but it's european tradition.. I saw some reviews about cold rooms - just turn your heater on!! :) I think the price is quite satisfied.

Good location near the station Botanique, and well served by the tram n.94, which is very convenient. In the surroundings you will find a lot of Turkish restaurant, with very nice food (if you like mediterranean food).

Photos do not describe exactly what you are going to find, we found a small and noisy room and pretty tatty hotel. It is no near downtown by walk but well communication in public transport. Surrondings are nasty and full of turkish and nigerian inmigrants. For sure we will not go back.

Excellent courteous service. However not like new spacious hotels. Narrow corridors, very small lift. The room was 2 buildings away from reception. The surrounding area is a bit ..... Not so modern! To the city centre it is a 15 min travel or 15 euro by cab.

This hotel is nowhere near central brussels, it is at least 4 metro stops from the center plus a ten minute walk. For the price, there are much better options closer to the city. There is nothing surrounding this hotel and the first staff we encountered was rude. Also, when we first arrivedn there was no toilet paper and it took awhile for the staff to respond to our request.

we arrived very early(about 7 oclock) and the receptionist was kindly able to put us in a room before the official check-in. Also the hotel car park was a big bonus for the extra 10 euros, as on street parking would've been difficult because of lack of spaces.

It was ok. Located in the center, surrounded immigrant communities, but it was ok, have no problem for the 3 days I spent there. There is a big church nearby. I dont really suggest to visitors alone who arrive late in the city to choose the closest way between the Gare du Noord and the hotel as there is a red-light district, and some dark places, but if you take the main road instead that is more civilized. During the day these small streets has an interesting north African ambiance.. It was OK. Hotel is OK. Staff is OK. Rooms seem safe. Other visitors seem to be either tourist or professionals.

In the site it was written that free Wifi connection was available in the common area, whereas in fact only 1 desktop PC was available for 15 min. The hotel should write clearly on their site. The temperature of rooms was a bit chilly. It was ok for me, but my wife was complaining very much

Maybe it was bad timing but when I arrived the staff seemed like they were arguing and it took about 10 minutes before they managed sorted out my check-in. The very spacious room is reasonable for the price paid....my room which was facing the road was constantly bombarded by the sound of traffic. The towels they provided in my room had sort of a musky smell that put me off right away. The very slow internet provided is for 15 minutes and I was told to leave after 15 mins eventhough oddly, there was no one waiting to use the computer. If you're on a budget and stuff, go for this hotel....otherwise, im sure there are many others out there.
