The young man who welcomed us was very friendly. Each day our room was serviced. Breakfast was buffet cereals, breads and fresh fruit, cheese and meat. Walk around the city, easy to get around by foot or by tram. Take a train to Gent or Brugge for the day, only 30Euro return both trips pp.

If you are looking for a kitchette you need to book into Residence Louise (higher tariff). This is a standard hotel but is does have a small fridge. I recommend that you BYO as grog is very expensive in Brussels (especially beer). Parking is 17 Euros a day. There is free parking directly outside the hotel but it's tight during office hours. We had a long stay so we sat in the car and waited for 1-2 hours for a space to become available. For Brussels, Hotel Louise offers good value but it's quite noisy at night.

The staff is not polite and they speak only French. Don't ask them anything, they are not able to give you any information in another language ang if you do it they look at you as they were pissed off. I had to call the reception to switch on the radiatior because the room was so cold inside!

Nice room, friendly staff, good selection for breakfast. A bit of a hike from the metro, but shopping OK within a relatively short distance.

The room I was staying in was the largest room I have ever stayed in, with table, chairs and a small kitchen equiped with everything. Nice location, only 3 stops from Midi Railway station.

The hotel is located in a district that is not shown on all tourist maps, it was very difficult to get there by public transport the first time. the photos on the web site look much more attractive than the property actually is, everything being quite modest, especially the breakfast room. nevertheless, the service and the food (though very limited choice of it) were OK.

Junior Suite is very large, located in 7th floor. Bright room with good view for a hotel in a street next to Avenue Louise. The elevator only goes to the 6th floor and the room can only be reached by a going up some narrow stairs. Handicapped people should avoid getting a room in the 7th floor. Breakfast service was poor and not friendly. Doing your online checkin for aircraft is also complicated, because the bording card cannot be printed out at local computer but has to be sent to employee´s desk via email.

A very pleasant hotel which despite being away from the centre is easy to access via the Metro from Zuid Station. Splended room which is excellent value. First class Belgian restaurant near-by which was recommended by the management. Other restaurant choices also close by.

Very convenient location near Louise undergrund station. I had a very big double room, even with a small pentry for a very reasonable price although by colleague did not have a pentry, so that may vary. The furniture is not new but practical and the TV did not have all channels mentioned in the information sheet, but on the other hand there was Free Wi-Fi Internet. God value for the money. The only real drawback was the breakfast buffet wich was a bit limited.

There was always something missing in the room, no extra toilet paper, no coffee. But the staff at the front desk always helped with a smile. The WC even had to be changed during our stay but it was done without problem nor inconvenience. The hotel is close to the shopping area. There was also an excellent italian restaurant just around the corner. The neighbourhood is very quiet at night.

I basically wanted a decent room with a wifi which worked and nice polite people at the reception. If possible close to a café which is open late at night. In a nice area. I got all this, with remarkable efficiency to boot. What more can one ask for? Suggestion....Maybe they need more TV channels (not that I really had time).

Stayed in room 26 at the back of building. No street noise, nice garden view, free wireless internet. 1/2 block off a main shopping street, quiet neighbourhood. In middle of the Art Nouveau district. 10 minute walk to the metro Louise station and good for those who use public transport (trams and metro) to explore the city. Good selection of cafes and restaurants in area. A couple "sketchy" looking places behind main street (broken windows, strip club, empty shop), but locals were strolling casually through well-lit areas at night, so no real worry. Feel free to explore! Breakfast was "continental" with the addition of cold ham, cheese, and boiled eggs. Coffee was instant. Breakfast included in price. Issues were hallway noise and a tiny lift (no room for 2 people PLUS luggage). Room doors are not soundproof and therefore 1 a.m. door-slamming neighbours woke us up.

Large and comfortable room. Pity the shade in the shower (too long I stepped on it and too old and kind of mouldy). The breakfast room is so tiny guests must share little tables.

Fine hotel. The computers did not work during our stay, but apparently wireless was available. The hotel was not as centrally located as we were led to believe, but it was a very pleasant walk to where we wanted to go. Staff was very helpful and the breakfast was good.

Getting the (free) internet working was a struggle until the receptionist re-set the modem: this service could be improved, as it was an important factor for me in choosing the hotel. My bedroom had access to the little garden outside, which would have been great on a sunny day; however it is rather noisy being so close to reception and the dining room. But overall a nice hotel and I will stay again.

I stayed in the hotel with a friend and found it to be exactly like the website said. The staff were quite helpful. And the surrounding area was great...neither of us (2 women) felt uncomfortable walking around late at night. And easy access to the Metro.

I stayed her for one night as a trip with my 2 year old daughter. Although the lift was small we were still able to get in! The chap on the reception was very helpful, and the room was emmaculate, the ensuite was spotless. The room was spacious enough for my daughter to tot about and play and we throughly enjoyed out stay! There was a convient little corner shop located on the same road. However the hotel is situatted in a fantastic shopping area, with lovely resturants. I would compare it King's St in Chelsea. It is very close to the Metro, and is only 2 stops for the Main station in Brussels.

Positive: well furnished and comfortable. Negative: problems with water plants (noisy for 1 hour after the use). Thin walls: rumours from other bathrooms. Need a better room isolation.

L'esperienza in genereale è stata molto buona.
