The Albergo is a good accomodation for cheap accomodation in Brussels. It has big rooms enough for 4 people and is really near to the city centre (Rogier metro station is 5 minutes walking from the hotel). It offers breakfast for 3 € and have basic comforts. It's drawbacks are: a poor cleaningness on the bathroom, and also they didn't tidy up very carefully our room. After the first night, they arranged only one out of the three beds we used. The neighbourhood seems a bit sordid, but is absolutely safe and near to the "brussels manhattan". It's a bit difficult to find the hotel, but an experienced traveller should not have much problems.

ENG: Is a bad place, the men who were in charge didn't stop starring at us and our but, that´s rude and incomfortable, the treatment ulse is really bad, never book at this place!!!!

Price is reasonable.Location is close to North station. But at first,it wasn't easy to find this hotel. And it's not far to Brussele central(I went to there on foot). This hotel is for single traveler or traveler who doesn't want to spend for hotel.

Just a big problem: smell of mold and humidity in the room

The hotel is very cheap for Brussels, sufficiently quiet considering its position near the railway and it was extremely comfortable for the congress I had to attend and also close to the city centre (10-15 minutes on foot). It was not easy to find from the metro stop due to the presence of the train station and the fly-overs which compelled to a detour not clear on the map. Breakfast is rather poor and not well presented. The staff was quite unhelpful and not very kind apart from the only girl who tried to do her best but was rarely there.

When I arrived at the hotel I discovered my room was behind a technical room. The room and the bath room were clean. A lot of noise in the night as some guys come to talk with the receptionnist until about 3 O'clock, and at 7 O'clock this is the noise for the breakfast preparation. By the way, I buy some "Quies" for the next night and it was much better. The breakfast (included in the price) was good. The room was cleaned every day, but at around 5 PM, wich is very late and as I need some rest at this time, very annoying. And last but not least, the wifi connection was poor and unusable at the night. If you just want too sleep (with earplug) and then go out, it's a good price.

Located right at the edge of the "interesting part" of the town, but very easily accessible from the Nord station. Never had a problem, even quite late. Stuff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was adequate, overall great value for the budget conscious traveler.

L'hotel est propre et correct. L'accueil est agréable, mais les photos sur le site sont plus belles que la réalité. notemment pour la salle de bain. salle de déjeuner très petite. il faut prendre cet hôtel que si c est pour y dormir et non pour y "stationner".

This was by far the most dreadful hotel I have ever stayed in my life. The sheets were filthy the room stank of sewage and stale air and it upsets me that a fantastic website like this even allows it on its site. I am not a whinger or a difficult guest but I HAD TO LEAVE IT was so dire!

The hotel was 10 minutes walking distance from the nearest metro station, but easy to find. It had no elevator at all and very narrow stairs, so it was very difficult to reach the last floors carrying any baggage.

Hotel is small, but it is very convenient to downtown Brussels with a few minutes walk.

Worth the price. This is no luxury hotel and the area is not the best - the actual location is great for access to the centre but the surroundings are a bit dodgy - but for the price in Brussels it was great. No issues at all with the room - everything worked which is unusual at this price point and it seemed recently renovated (so other rooms might be different). Was even quite clean too. Staff were competent if not exactly enthusiastic. Missed the breakfast so can't comment on that. Paid €69 for a double room with bath and would stay there again.

Courteous, efficient staff. Two small problems--no hot water first night, light bulb out one evening--were attended to immediately. Ground floor room was spacious, clean, comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and good. One note---walking to the Albergo from the Rue Royale (main street) is through a winding street, a little dark at night. I felt safe but recommend caution to a single traveler. If you are aware of your surroundings there should be no problem.

Very close to a rather seedy area. Room was adaquate...but had to askfor the hot water to be turned on in my room in order to have a shower. Also at breakfast it seemed to be purely at the whim of the staff whether you were offered tea or coffee or a choice of either.....some were offered cheese, others not....didn't bother me particularly, but couldn't quite work out the rationale behind it!

Interesante opcion si buscas algo barato sobre todo por la localizacion y el precio medio en Bruselas. Esta limpio y para ese precio es una buena opcion. Cerca de la estacion si quieres viajar a Gante, Brujas , Amberes... Interesting option if you look something cheap and well situated. Good location if you plan to travel to Brugges and Gent

This is meant as a warning against this hotel, which is the WORST I ever visited. I arrived with my family at the hotel at about 16.00 hours in the afternoon. The room should have been available at 14.00 hours. We were let into a room which had not been cleaned, with slept sheets and dirt (bottles, ashes and cigarettes) in the room. For this reason we refused the room and left. The hotel used our credit card information to have the money paid, although ours was not a case of cancellation of the room, but of a refusal of a bad product and service, which is the right of a client. For this reason I warn whoever would like to make a hotel reservation NOT to use this hotel. There are a lot of hotels in Brussels which offer much better quality for a cheaper price.

A nice place to spend a couple of nights. Staff was friendly. Close to north station (for carrying luggage) but not too close (decent area). Was supposed to have wireless internet, but it didn't - used the provided access point to check my mail.
