Please do NOT stay at this hotel. They have the most unfriendly staff I've ever encountered in a hotel. They don't have any double bedrooms, so don't be fooled by a pair of single beds pushed together, as you will still be provided with single duvets each. If you like black mould growing in your shower this is the hotel for you. The waste drain from out shower tray smelt disgusting and whne my wife showered the water didn't drain away, so it must have been blocked. I had to use our son's room to shower. once again please do NOT book this hotel, they didn't give a fig whne we asked at reception and they offered us a 10% discount!!

We were thrilled with the hotel, particularly when on arrival, we were given an upgrade. The room and the facilities were outstanding. A lovely buffet breakfast was offered. I loved the L'Occitane products. My favourite. We had a lovely time in Bruges.

This is a lovely hotel that is situated close to the centre of Bruges. The room that we had on the top floor was spacious and well fitted out. Lovely breakfast and nice staff.

Our room was on the 5th floor and faced to the street. A pub for young persons was on the other side of the street and was somewhat noisy at evening (or night) especially on Sunday night (I stayed there for 5 nights). The draining equipment of bathtub did not work well. Except for above mentioned problems, the room (and the hotel) was very nice in terms of facilities and cervises.

we had a superior room that was quite nice but on the street side so it was very noisy the whole night because of the cobblestones and we couldn't open the windows. Also the breakfast was not amusing for a 4 star hotel boring and always the same. But nevertheless a perfect place to start with city tours

First time in Bruges - loved it. The hotel was absolutely gorgeous and the staff were exemplary. Its just off the town square so location was perfect. And it was great value for money. Room was a little cramped as it was an attic room but it was still clean, tidy and comfortable. Gorgeous hotel - would return again

I stayed at Oud Huis de Peelaert for one night with my boyfriend and two other friends earlier this January. Despite such a short stay, we had a fantastic experience. The staff was extremely welcoming and accomodating and the hotel itself is gorgeous. It is in a perfect location - steps from Burg and Grote Markt and an easy walk to almost anywhere in Bruges. Our visit to this beautiful city was definitely enhanced by the lovely people at Oud Huis de Peelaert.

We stayed in Brugge for 2 nights in december. Our party stayed in 2 executive suites and they were faultless, very clean, spacious and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent, staff were very helpful, our Grandson left a few toys in the bedroom on leaving, and when we returned to pick up our cases they were there waiting. cannot fault one thing.

This hotel was outstanding and far exceeded our expectations. The furniture and decor was amzing and there was a wonderful ambience about the whole place. Breakfasts were very good and plentiful and the location very convenient. The only dow was the bar across the street which could be very noisy and if there were any rooms available at the back of the hotel they would be better. Overall though FANTASTIC

We will be recommending the hotel to anyone that is visiting Brugge, and Brugge what a beautiful place, we could live there. Great hotel, very close to the public squares in Bruges. My opinion is that you are better not being directly on the squares, too noisy. Hotel is very clean, lobby, breakfast area, etc. are very nicely kept up. It's across the street from a hostel/bar, but even though we had the room directly facing that we couldn't hear anything. Since it's air conditioned you can keep the windows closed. Highly recommended. And Bruges is a great town.

An excellent hotel right in the heart of the city. Staff were very helpful and friendly Only drawback was that the room was on the front and there is a hostel opposite and sometimes it was quite noisy in the early hours of the morning. This is not a fault of the hotel of course and would not stop me from staying there again or recommending it to anyone staying in Bruges

We were a small family group (a married couple and her mother) staying in Bruges for the Christmas holiday. This hotel is a beautiful renovation of two adjacent old Bruges buildings, with additional rooms added at the back. The hotel staff did a marvelous job of meeting our every need, including the challenging task of booking dinner for Christmas eve and Christmas day on the 23rd of December. Breakfast is a well tended full buffet; if there were a single negative thought it would be that the only change we saw in five days of breakfast was that the fruit salad was upgraded for Christmas and Boxing Day. The coffee at breakfast was excellent. There is some street noise on the front side of the hotel; not much of a problem in winter when keeping the windows closed is no hardship! We had not reserved parking with the hotel, and found none available when we asked, but as it turned out, we were happier parking in the nearby (5 minute walk) city garage anyway because it is cheaper (9 euros/day vs. 15 at the hotel) and the walk is lovely. The ground floor bar area is very comfortable, with segregated smoking and non-smoking areas; the only disappointment there was that the wine is identical to what is available in the room minibars. The hotel may be missing an opportunity here. All in all though, it was a wonderful stay, and if I can find an excuse to visit Bruges again, I'll certainly try to stay again at the Oud Huis de Peelaert.

We stayed at the Oud Huis de Peelaert a week before christmas, and it was the perfect location to get us in the christmas spirit! The hotel is in a fantastic position, just 3 mins walk from the main square, but in a quiet street. The public parts of the hotel are wonderful - its made up of 2 old houses, so it really has a grand feeling to it. The rooms probably have a bit too much furniture in them, so feel a little cramped, but are still nice. The spa area (which seems very new) is down in the cellar, and doesnt seem to be used by anyone. We asked about it and were given a code to go down there - and its well worth it, especially on a cold day. Would definitely visit this hotel again.

Hotel public areas were well done and extremely nice. Standard guest room was very tight -- desk unnecessary based on space, and wardrobe too big for room. Bathroom was excellent -- very important! While workout room was a bit sparse, still VERY appreciated; but could use a TV, and the ability to control temperature (too warm).

We loved this hotel. It was bright, light, wonderful decor, large rooms and great service. We enjoyed the morning FULL breakfast every day. I just can't say enough. The location was ideal. Just "down the street" from the main square. Easy to get to the train station. Everything was so great that we extended our stay from three nights to six!We decided to make this our "home base" and train to Antwerp etc and return to this gorgeous hotel at night. We very much enjoyed the large, peaceful, relaxing sauna/steamroom--used it every night and had it to ourselves. Mark it a 10 Plus star rating and GO!!!

The hotel, receintly remodeled, is beautiful. The rooms are will appointed, beds are comfortable, the bathroom was beautiful (finished in granite and marble. Only problem was that we requested a non-smoking room and did not receive one. We asked for air freshener, which helped. As did opening the windows for a while. Breakfast was great and the breakfast room was beautifully decorated also. Location is great, being about five minutes easy walking to the center of town.
