Free parking was just on street pot luck parking, quite misleading to advertise free parking facilities. Very dated decor. Very thin walls listened to next doors baby crying through v.thin walls.No lighting in corridors. Friendly helpful staff.Safe area. Breakfast was good.Bruges is currently undergoing major roadworks so very difficult to get to hotel as diversions in Belgian!

Our first time at Olympia and we would highly recommend this hotel. Location is great for free parking, and exploring Brugge on foot. The hotel is beautifully decorated and maintained, and the daytime reception staff excellent.

WE WERE ON A SHORT CITY BREAK IN BRUGES WITH FRIENDS. THE HOTEL IS AN EASY 10 MIN WALK FROM CITY CENTRE OR STATION. ALL AT THE HOTEL WERE VERY FRIENDLY & HELPFUL A REALLY GOOD BREAKFAST IS PROVIDED - ROOMS OK ALTHOUGH WE COULD HEAR NEXT DOOR - CLEAN , WARM AND COMFORTABLE - BAR ON PREMISES WAS GOOD FOR A NIGHT CAP TEA AND COFFEE MAKING STUFF IN ROOM WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE .

Hotel Olympia's staff were pleasant and the service was good. Only complaint would be that the double room booked was actually two beds pushed together which made sleeping uncomfortable for a couple.

We really enjoyed our stay in Brugge. This hotel was located in a pleasant quiet suburb. It was about 15 minute walk from train station and easy to locate. The hotel had very comfortable facilities and easy access to the historic part of the town about 10 minutes walk. Recommend hiring bikes near tourist information centre as a great way to see this beautiful city. Very easy to see all the sights this way.

Nice, quiet room. Very Cozy. About 15 to 20 minutes walk to train station and Old Town. Very Warm and nice bed. The only problem were two bees that were in the bathroom. But overall, everything was nice.

Good hotel. Convenient for Bruges city center (15 minutes walk) and Jan Breydel Stadium (Club Bruges) which is approx. a 25 minutes' walk.

We stayed at the olympia for a weekend and found it to be very good value for money. The hotel is clean comfortable and the breakfast excellent. My only complaint was that the room was sun facing and extremely hot on our arrival but we opened the very large window and pulled the curtain accross to block out the sun which did the trick. The location is good about a 15 min walk to the centre. I would definately go back.

The Olympia Hotel offers pleasantly-furnished double and twin bedrooms of a modern style, providing a warm and comfortable atmosphere.All of the rooms are equipped with central heating, colour TV, direct dial phone, safety deposit box for a fee, wake-up call and feature a private bathroom with a bathtub/shower combination and hairdryer. They also include seperate sitting and dining areas and in-room childcare for a fee.

How to reach Hotel Olympia
By carFrom Amsterdam/Brussels: Take highway A10/E40 to Bruges and take exit number 8. Take Lobbemsestraat street and turn right after the second traffic lights onto Rijselstraat. After the roundabout you will find a T junction, turn right, then take the next street on the left and enter Magdalena straat where you will find the Olympia Hotel.
Alternatively, you can take highway A10/E40 to Belgium. Once in Belgium follow the signs for Oostende-Brugge-Brussel. Once you are in Bruges, take exit 7 Loppem to the N397 direction Zedelgem. Follow left (4th exit) on the roundabout, under the railway bridge in the direction of Zeebrugge/Blankenberge/Brugge. Go straight on for about 4 km. You will reach the back of the train station where you need to follow a left turn and go straight on at the traffic lights, in the direction of Zedelgem-Loppem (do not drive under the railway bridge). After approximately 500 metres turn left into Magdalena straat where you will find the Olympia Hotel on your left.
From each direction: on the E40, take exit 8 Brugge-Zeebrugge, keep following the N31 until the second traffic lights, where you need to turn right, on to the N397. Proceed until you come at the backside of the train station where at the traffic lights you need to follow direction to Zedelgem-Loppem (do not go under the railway bridge!). After about half a mile, take the first street on your left, which is de Magdalenastraat, where you will see the Olympia Hotel right in front of you.
By train
From most train stations in Belgium you can take a direct train to Bruges central station. From there, take bus number 25, and ask the driver to tell you where to get off after approximately 10 minutes. The bus stop is located 50 metres from the Olympia Hotel. You can also find many taxis in front of the train station, who will bring you to the hotel in 5 minutes.
By airplane
From Brussels Zaventem Airport: Take the A10 highway and follow the signs to Bruges, then follow the above instructions.
