We both realy enjoyed our stay at the Montovani. It was spotlessly clean and the rooms were spacious. Vicky was very helpfull and spoke realy good english. My only concern was the parking but I need not have been as there was free parking about 300 mts away. The market and center were within easy walking distance. We shall certainly be back in yhe new year as there is a lot more see of Bruges.Allen and Chris.

First time in Bruges. Finding the hotel was very easy with directions sent by owner. Bus ran from station stopping outside the street where hotel was located. The hotel was run by the owner who was very friendly and spoke excellent English.

Very nice place to stay. Breakfast hours were somewhat limited -- 8:30-10:00, which we found to be a bit late in the day. It would have been nice to have had internet access at this place but we knew from the outset that it was not available.

Room (number 1) was fine. Spacious, clean and well appointed. Nothing special but comfortable. Breakfast very good. Cereal, juice, nice bread, good coffee. Location also convenient to the city center. Owners kind and reserved. I would come back.

Good location just outside the old centre of Bruges - we walked to everything. The hotel, room, breakfast etc. were excellent. Staff were very helpful, directing me to free street parking area nearby (5 min walk). Nice quiet side street, but well lit and safe, just off main road around town. Bruges was excellent, and it was great to be able to stay late in town, see the buildings illuminated, have dinner in the Markt Square, then stroll back to the hotel. I recommend staying in Bruges (2 nights is great) rather than just visiting for a day trip.

Our experience was wonderful. The location is 10 - 15 minutes walk from the main train station. The street where is located is very quiet and safe. Is a few minutes walk from were the restaurants, historial, museum and all the good stuff are located. The staff were very helpful and professional. The dinning room is small and very quiet right next to a back yard garden. Yes, I will return again.

While the place could be modernized a bit (update carpets, some new furniture) it represents a good value for money. The rooms were huge, it was very quiet and the family owners were brilliant. They stood out and made our stay an excellent one in Brugge. It is not exactly in the center of Brugge but if you can walk more than 10 minutes it is certainly more than close enough. Free breakfast is a very nice added bonus. Thank you!

Very pleasant stay. Wish I could stay more nights. The staff was so much helpful. The breakfast was very complete and delicious. The distance to city center is about 10 minutes by walk but also enjoyable. Recommended to any single traveler or family.

The quality vs. price ratio is overall good. However, some things are to consider before booking this hotel: the cleanliness of the bathrooms and towels during my stay were not that great. The bathrooms lacked ventilation and the towels haven't been changed even though they were wet and smelling. The hotel was close to the historical center, but not that close.

Excellent hotel for visit to Brugge provided the visitor is a good walker. About 6 minutes to parking and 10 minutes to Brugge town centre. Two problems occurred during our stay. The first was the bed in ourbedroom had a broken frame which meant that itwas badly sagged on one side and affected my wife's first night sleep. This was repaired for our second night. The second and more unpleasant experience was to observe that the breakfast table mats were used over again even although they were paper and some badly stained. We complained and were told the owner would be informed. Overall the hotel was good value for money although there is no lounge or entertainment other than room TV with one English speaking channel.
