Very central located hotel, right in the heart of Brugge, The furniture and the room was a little bit old fashioned. Very good breakfast. Sometimes you could hear the neighbours in the next room. Nearby the hotel good and relatively cheap parking garage.

DO NOT BOOK ROOMS AT THIS HOTEL THIS IS WHAT IS STATES ON THE WEB SITE. “The hotel has an annex building which does not have an elevator. Guest in these quarters dispose of the same hotel facilities as other guests.” When we read this, we thought, expect to climb a couple of flights of stairs. No Problem. We were asked to pay for the rooms when we checked in, which we thought were a little odd. THEY ARE CONVERTED GALLERY SHOPS BEHIND THE HOTEL. As we are here for only 3 nights & we would be out sight seeing all day, we would only be there just to sleep & shower. We thought it would do. Big mistake. They are dark, dank & utterly miserable. There is no natural light, when you open the curtain (eventually) you still need the light on & everyone walking past can look straight into the rooms. There is a loud pub right next door at the back, which is open till 3.30am Hotel staff starts working at 5.30-6.00am. More noise from the service doors are in between the room doors. Setting up the bikes for hire, chatting loudly on their mobile phones. Banging doors to & from the lift. Totally oblivious to guests staying in the rooms, trying to get some sleep. No soundproofing. Only a couple of hours sleep!!! I was bitten 8 times by something. Shower time forget it!!! Stand in the bath & hose your self down, as the showerhead attachment was broken. TV could only get 2 channels. Tea & coffee making facilities, chipped cups. Go to Bruges it is lovely. But do your self a big favour. Stay somewhere else.

We stayed in a 5-6 person apartment with Kitchen attached. The double bed is in a room attached to the bath/shower and washbasin. The WC is in the entrance. The other 4 beds are in the living/ sitting area. The bath/ shower is white washed painted over the existing titles. Cheap makeover cost. The shower cord is too short and obstruct your movement. The terrace is deteriorated and we didnt walk on the terrace after the first time bc it was wobby and not even. For 1 night it was enough. We circled to find their carpark which was a not signed and next to the hotel which to have to use an unmarked road. The breakfast was standard breakfast. We could only check-in exactly at 3pm bc housekeeping was busy and still busy. They gave us a tourist card and say we can obtain discount, but its just some discount talk to make us happy and thinking you can squeeze more discounts out from these museums. Published as 3-star but i would give it a 1-star.

Location is brilliant - being right in the centre of Brugge allowed us to duck back to the hotel to drop off things we bought (particularly chocolate). We stayed in an apartment ... with seperate access straight out into the main Market Square. APartment was good - one bedroom for us and enough space for 4 kids in the lounge area (we had just three) - made the lounge feel a bit like a dormitory but it worked for us. We had just lost our car 2 days before in an accident and staff at hotel made great suggestion to take taxi to Calais and arranged all - not much more than a train and saved us 2-3 hours of travel. Don't ask staff for restaurant suggestions - they will refer you to properties owned by their company ... but the smaller restaurant at hotel is actually very good.

We recently booked this hotel for our family vacation to Brugge; our first visit to Belgium. The room was the perfect size for our family of four and in an ideal location, too. Breakfast was healthy and delicious, the staff was very friendly and helpful; we especially loved the convenience of having bike rental right there. They were able to provide us with everything we needed and more. Free Internet was an added plus. Really great value for the price. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

The rooms displayed on the web were suites. The comfort rooms for general bookings were small, clean but pooly maintained. Most rooms appeared to be smoking rooms. This is ok if you are a smoker. Mosquitos are a problem. No screens on any windows. We tried 3 rooms before being marginaly satisfied. Mattresses worn out and you could feel the springs when laying down. The beds have a waterproof mattress protector which causes you to perspire, very uncomfortable. Overall the hotel needs a lot of maintenance. Hotel offers free wifi however the access to wifi from your room will depend on your room location.

Loved the location and the adaptation of a really old building into a hotel. The only thing I would improve upon would be to patch the walls that are missing bits of sheetrock, and fresh paint on the rooms. It was clean enough. Loved having the hot pot in the room and coffee and tea available. Breakfast was excellent! And the room in the cellar where it was served was fascinating. Overall, good value for money.

The only good thing was the breakfast which was excellent. The staff was not helpful and boarded on arrogance. The tiny room in the annex directly over a bar was noisy into the wee hours. Other visitors said the location was good ,but in Brugge most hotels are in good locations and I am sure are not as inadequate as this one.

Its location is excellent, however the clean service isn't very good, they only made the beds, they didn't empty the bins or clean the bathroom.Breakfast is good and it is served in a nice cellar. Double beds rooms are very small, it's better to book a room with two beds.

The hotel is quite central in regards to the historic part of Bruges. As a result, it can be noisy at night when people start leaving the pubs; the room was quite small and if the door to the washroom remained open, one could not walk around the bed. The staff was professional and provided me with instructions in case I came in after 11 PM : I was given a specific key to be used to get into the hotel.

The best aspect is clearly the excellent location of this property. We could easily walk to all central places. The car park was locked after each visit but someone was always at hand to open it on our return. We also received a very good breakfast. Brugge was one of the best places we visited this summer!

The hotel is OK. The location is excellent. The breakfast is excellent in quality and variety. The hotel has also a restaurant with very good dishes and prices. And a very good beer! The only one thing we didn´t enjoy was a pub in the patio. It was noisy because of the people singing at 2 or 3 am. But if you have a very deep sleep, maybe you don´t feel it that bad.

the room was fine and size was good. the hotel provided free internet, except is did not work during most of my stay. You could go down to the lobby and login, but only one person at a time. I was sent to an internet cafe that was suppose to be free if you took your own laptop, but the hotel clerk was wrong, it was 2euros per hour and you had to use their computers. hotel is associated to two restaurants (either side of hotel). One is casual, the other is formal and EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE. No restaurants in the area provide takeout and most closed earlier than expected. Interesting city.

A very nice, very well located hotel with a beautiful view of the Belfry as it is across the street from it. Because of this, it can be noisy in the mornings when the tourists arrive but I do not consider that a drawback when in the center of Bruges for such a good price, which included a kitchenette in the room and an amazing breakfast buffet.
