Orea Hotel Voronez I - Brno

I have made many visits to Brno over the past years (visiting relatives)and this is probably the best hotel in which I have stayed. Its main disadvantage is its location which is about an 8 minute walk to the nearest tramline into the city - the trams are efficient and cheap so not in themselves a problem but the walk each way might not suit everyone. For those on business, it is right next to the major conference centre/trade fair locality so a good choice. Breakfast was excellent with a huge selection of food and beverages and ample quantities. Beware when booking that not all rooms are airconditioned - ours wasn't, probably because we'd picked up a special bargain and airconditioned rooms I would think are available but more expensive, but it was OK as the weather was coolish even though it was the end of August. However, Brno can be very hot in summer and a room without airconditioning would be unpleasant (opening the windows lets in insects and noise so not ideal solution). Finally in completing this questionnaire I have been compelled by the software to put in an entry under map location and type and number of rooms available but in reality I cannot comment on these aspects as I didn't look at a map and I have no idea what rooms are available.
