This is a very nice hotel, very clean and very friendly,for sure I'd go back again,just one thing, this hotel has no no. on their address, we need to spend some more time to find it, suggest type " Bristol" instead of" Henbury city" and the post code on your GPS then maybe you would not need to run to totally the other side of this area, the rest is good and the breadfast, We all love it!!

For: Room clean and spacious. Quiet. Staff friendly and polite. Parking secure. Same price as a premier travel inn. Evening meal OK (going by the menu) if you want fancy restaurant food. We found a steakhouse 100 yds down the road, which was excellent value. Breakfast was OK. Against: Evening meal you have to have 2 courses minimum. Why? That put us off so we ate elsewhere. If you stayed a week and ate here it would cost a fortune. Would have preferred a more rustic menu, the ability to have only one course, and lower prices. Breakfast although OK. Found it strange not to help ourselves to the cereals, juice, tea, coffee etc. Almost felt guilty asking for more orange juice. Although staff were helpful. Summary: Made a change to a travel inn. Saw no one in the bar or restaurant during our stay of one night. As accommodation goes we would recommend. We would go out of our way to use again ONLY if the menu changed. Overall NOT a bad experience, but it is a competitive market and this place needs to do better. It has massive potential and could be a big earner.

By car
To find Henbury Lodge Hotel from Junction 17 of the M5 (approx. 2½ minutes away), take the A4018 (Signposted Westbury-on-Trym) and follow the dual carriageway to the third roundabout. Turn right here and drive to the end of Crow Lane, at this junction turn right, cross the ford and the Hotel is fifty yards on the right, parking facilities are within the grounds.
