Parc Hôtel - Briançon

Very good and efficient booking system. The Park Hotel in Briançon offers a very good quality/price ratio. However, the Elsacian Tavern close to the hotel is not so interesting. Do not hesitate to find another restaurant !

We have been guest in this hotel for several years now and this year with the ownership change 6 month ago the service provided become very poor. We booked a room triple, we got a double room with additional bed so no remaining space, no breakfast in room as before, payment on arrival (new), room to be left at 10am max... This hotel is no more a 3 stars, it is only 2 stars minus. not to be recommended anymore.

The pic of hotel was taken at such an angle that it looks nice - it is not. the location is in the centre of briancon not the serre chevalier as stated. there was nothing apart from a bottle of warm water in the room; we arrived at 11pm tired and hungry - no room service and stiflingly hot with no air con. street noise prevented opening window. room very basic for price £68 and carpets all stained; we checked out next day and wont return. venere were very good by not charging the commission for the full five days.

Staff was very kind and always available even in an emergency situation (we had to leave one car for almost one week due to great snowfall). Just in front of the downtown and only 5 minutes to the lift for Serre Chevalier.

Our stay at the Parc Hotel was great - nothing was any trouble and everything just worked in this well located hotel in the beautiful French Alps town of Briancon. We have lovely memories of our 2 night stay!

The evening meal was not up to your usual standard, compared with our stay in Gap the previous year. I think there should have been more staff working in the restaurant as well. The head waiter was particularly busy with clients and we had to wait some time to be served. The reception staff were very helpful as they contacted a garage for us as our car needed attention. The garage sent a representative to show us where to go to.

Nice hotel, well located, not far from SNCF and Prorel lift. Very good breakfast. Quiet rooms. I advise it.

Well kept, reasonable place, with prices hard to beat if you book via Venere. Walk-ins would have payed 35% more... But the place has nothing to do with the picture at Venere... but that picture made us choose the hotel. Make of it what you will

Nice hotel. Small garage for m/cycles, fits about 5 bikes. Pleasant 'new' town. Old walled town should not be missed, it's about 0.4 of a mile from the hotel up hill. Quiet separate from most of new town.

Hotel Parc have permitted us to park our bike inside their garage without any cost.

This must have been the smallest hotel room I've ever been in ! The car parking facilities - on the site of a demolished building - were not good.

Ski break for 5 days, hotel was very accommodating, and allowed me to delay my arrival for 1 day as London airports closed due to half an inch of snow, without any extra charges. Good breakfast, good restaurant, great location for ski access to lifts and restaurants etc. Only downside was the beds were not comfortable and past their sell by date (quite an important thing for a Hotel, sleeping comfortably...)and rooms bit dated, but ok really. Other than that, couldn't really fault it.

The picture in the hotel makes it seem it is out in the country, but it is in the city center. We were also disappointed that it said they have parking, but only 8 spots, the rest paid. It was a great location close to shops and restaraunts. It was a nice stay, but priced much higher than we thought it should be.
