Hotel Cristallo - Brescia

Clean room, comfortable bed, clean,functioning shower room. Breakfast good by Italian standards, cereal, yogurt, rolls, ham , cheese, croissants, cake, fruit, buffet constantly replenished. Pleasant staff with English. Location - plus - 1 minute from train & bus stations, double glazing and effective air-conditioning cut out most of noise from station, - minus - area grotty and far from town centre, lots of young immigrant men hanging around, but they were well-behaved & I felt safe. Could find nowhere decent to eat but lots of fast food outlets, no decent shops and badly ripped-off by nasty man in fruit & veg shop round corner from hotel. This is not the hotel's fault and it is ideal for a train-hopping holiday.

We were pleased to be able to check-in early on our arrival from the train, though had to carry luggage up a flight of stairs to get to reception. Room was on the same floor so we were able to quickly put luggage in rooms and return to cacth a train to Lake Iseo for the day. Room was ok, clean but totally unadorned without even a simple picture frame. Breakfast was simple but adequate.

The location is very handy for the train and bus stations, and only ten minutes from the old town centre. Alas, the surrounding areas are slightly shabby,frequented by hawkers and offer few pleasant places to eat. However, the hotel itself is very clean and excellently run by a very friendly and competent staff. Breakfasts are good and the public sitting area is attractive.

Camera pulita ma rumorosissima: tutta la notte il rumore dell'aeratore del piano di sotto, attaccato alla mia finestra, e le chiacchere di chi stava in portineria.

Strong cigarettes smell in the room from previous clients. Very poor fornitures.

There is some noise from railway and auto station. Room is rather good, so is the breakfast/

Right next to train tracks and station. Tired furnishings and linens. Relatively clean. Nice staff.

Stayed with a friend in Brescia for 5 days as a tourist. Cristallo was very good, but the surroundings near the train and bus stations were not very nice and it was also noisy. But of course that was not due to the hotel, and we wanted to live near the train station.

Soprattutto molto utile la vicinanza sia alla Stazione ferroviaria che alla Stazione autobus. Non distante il centro della città. Per chi arriva in auto, esite un ampio parcheggio accanto alla stazione ferroviaria.

Complessivamente ci siamo trovati molto bene. Grazie alla gentilezza dei titolari, abbiamo anche risolto il problema del parcheggio, altrimenti non avremmo saputo trovare soluzione non essendo del luogo. Forse è meglio raggiungere la città in treno, vista la comodità dell'albergo.

Central position, really close to the center yet not expensive. Rooms are ok, clean- not too spacious though but it has a good price and quality relationship. Rooms are a bit noisy since the station is just next to the hotel but go and have a bottle of red wine (as I did) and you'll hear nothing:) few parking lots only. breakfast poor but ok. In short: the hotel is fine and the staff is very friendly!

A nice hotel with the facility to stay near FS station of brescia

The desk person helped us with our bags and was very helpful when asked about airport transfers. The hotel is very clean and tidy. We were very happy with the accommodation, however the surrounding area around the train and bus station was a disappointment. This is not the fault of the hotel and would not in any way discourage anyone to book the hotel as it is so near to the transport stations.

Hotel OK for casual tourists looking for a place to sleep. Very close to railway and urban/interurban bus station. Ideal to set your base for day "expeditions" in the region. Nothing special here. Rooms are simply decorated without any luxury. Though the baths are 4-star rating. Breakfast is fine but it could have been better for Italian standards. Overall price/quality is unbeatable.

Very convenient for the railway and bus stations, don't know if I would have gone out on my own after dark! Good value cheapish hotel.

I was so disapointed about the hotel; the toilet smell of fungus etc., I have pic. that show the poor quality.

The bar was uninviting, badly stocked and badly served. The breakfast was poor.

Excellent hotel. The room was very clean and quiet, perfect position (close to train station) and very good breakfast.

Missed =elevator for luggage,they will help you.Sober breakfast ,no variation.Prefer south rooms ,less noise of trains 500 mtr or bus station 50 mtr: good connections for a short trip to Venice or Verona. Very helpfull staff.

Hotel Cristallo is beside the train station and is only a short walk from the main piazza. The hotel is run by friendly and helpful staff and has nice rooms away from the street.

The most convenient part of this hotel is that it is very close to the station. And price is not so high.

Although there is air-conditioning in the public areas of the hotel, our room was serviced by a ceiling fan, which was okay as the ambient temperature was somewhat cooler than it had been a few weeks earlier. It did however disturb our sleep a little.

Overall disappointed. Located in a dubious region of Brescia. Not much happening locally at night.

The hotel has a good location, but I have to say that's the only factor that I chose it for my place of stay in Brescia.

The person who can speak english at th front have excdellent welcoming treatment with good hospitality spirits.
