Although we were only there for a week we were made very welcome in this well run family hotel. Located approximately 100metres up a hill off the main road that hugs the lake, the hotel is well situated on the lake and is only 10 minutes drive north to Malcesine. The view from our balcony was spectacular and allowed a view of both north and south of the lake. The rooms were spotless and tidied everyday. The family who ran the hotel couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. Small well stocked supermarket at the bottom of the hill. restaurant is opposite this and reasonable walk to Cassone takes you to a good quality restaurant if you prefer. Parking was tight but managable with care. Next year we might even bring the kids!

A pleasant family-run hotel. The owners were very friendly and keen to help. Their English was very good considering the area has far more German-speaking tourists than English-speaking. The room was clean and pleasant, though we found it unbearably hot. The lake-facing rooms are in the sun all day and there is no fan or air conditioning. The terrace was pleasant, though not very private as it is seperated from teh next terrace by only a short metal railing. The bathroom was modern but had a shower that flooded the bathroom whenever used. The breakfast was excellent and had a home-preparad feel. There was a good selection of meat, cheese, fruit, cereal, bread, etc. Our stay here was very pleasant and was only marred by the fact that the room was so unbearably hot. I would recommend choosing a room facing the back of the property if visiting in a hot month.

Bortset fra den manglende aircondition, så er det et super sted. Perfekt beliggenhed med panorameudsigt til søen og bjergene. Dejlig morgenmad - super venligt værtspar. Ikke egnet for dårligt gående pga stejl bakke.

Great hotel for the price. Rooms on the road side are quite noisy. We stayed for 2 nights as a family of 5 and all went well. Clean, welcoming and well priced.

The owners were excellent - very friendly, helpful and welcoming. They allowed us to use their bikes for exploring the surrounding area, which was fabulous. views from our balcony were great. breakfast was excellent. upon our departure, they even gave us a bottle of wine. the only downside was the size of the room and the length of the bed (it was about 6" too short for my 6'4" boyfriend - but he slept well nonetheless!) however, neither of these things would keep us from returning or recommending it to others.

We booked a back view room, but when we arrived , we were offered a very spacious apartment instead. It was beautiful, overlooking a beautiful olive grove, with a lovely large balcony. Morning breakfast was served with very special attention to our needs from the staff. If you wish to stay around Lake Garda I fully recommend you stay here.Casa gagliardi feels like home.

Fine location, spotlessly clean hotel, perfect welcome, fantastic view of the lake etc, but bed too hard and bathroom way too small, unfortunately.....Small TV high up on the wall almost impossible to see. I know this is a 1 star hotel but it deserves a much higher rating. The couple who run the hotel are extremely friendly and welcoming. It's a great overall deal. Very quiet and away from the hordes.

This hotel is run by a friendly family, they were very welcoming. The rooms were clean and a decent size, bathroom bit small but was enough for us for our stay. Doors of the rooms were a bit noisy as you could hear the other guests coming and going, but this would not put me off staying there again. The location off the hotel was lovley, it was quite, within walking distance to the beach and restrants. Car was locked away behind a gate at night. We were a 10 mins drive away from main town which was gorgeous, we alao spent a whole day driving all around lake garda, which i felt was beatiful!! I would def reccomend this hotel for people wanting to vist lake garda, we had a very pleasent stay.

Casa Gagliardi is a beautiful family owned hotel, the staff is very polite and helpful. We stayed for three nights, they told us where to go(riva del garda, sirmione)and it was all perfect. Also, the hotel was not on the main street like other hotels in the area, which was very good, because there is a lot of traffic noise in lake Garda! If I go back to Garda,I will stay at casa Gagliardi for sure!P.S.If u stay here,I would suggest to take a day trip to Verona!Very beautiful and underestimated city!

This was a very nice hotel with a nice view of Lake Garda. There are lots of places to see along the shore of the lake, and nice restaurants. We enjoyed walking around the town of Malcesine, and had dinner at the Pizzeria Al Cervo, which we came across by accident along the road above Malcesine, and which had very good food and a very friendly staff.

After several visits to Riva del Garda, we were looking for a different location for a visit to the area to be able to tour a wider area towards the south. Though we stayed at Brenzone only over the weekend, we felt extremely welcomed by the owners who did a marvellous job in running this relatively small albergo. We will definitely return to Casa Gagliardi for a longer visit in the future

Stayed in a double room with balkony and view over the lake. Room very clean. Sight was excellent. As we went there in October, some road works and works on new buildings were going on. The room temperature was low in the first evenings, we however were supplied an electric heating, so that the problem could be easily solved.

Being first time visitors to Lake Garda the hotel was easy to find due to excellent directions. We were heartily welcomed and then left on our own to relax. The view from the room balcony onto the lake is beautiful. Cute little supermarket within walking distance across the road from the beach. Breakfast was excellent and well served. Friendly staff.

Outstanding. I wansn't expecting too much from the nights I stayed here due to he cheap price and it only having one star. However, out of all the accommodation I booked over the three weeks holiday it was by far the best. After staying here we travelled on to Milan and stayed in a four star hotel which was poor in comparison. This friendly family run business with outstanding views of the lake was well worth the money and deserves four stars or more.

Casa Gagliardi is a wonderful place, especially for those on a tightish budget. Marco and his family were extremely friendly & welcoming. The reception area, dining room and bedrooms are spotless; rooms are cleaned every day. There's a fridge on the second floor landing so travellers can keep water and snacks cool. The view from our balcony was astonishing (see Photo 1). Because this is a budget guest house, don't expect air conditioning! The rooms are very hot at night, which takes a little getting used to. The continental breakfast is fine but could do with a little variety from day to day. There's a good little supermarket just down the road to stock up on water, snacks, and they sell some lovely pastries! Assenza is a very small area with only a couple of restaurants and bars, but is very close to Malcesene, which is a lively town just to the north. There's a regular bus service to and fro, but I expect most people will have cars. In Malcesine, there's a cable car which takes you up 2000 mt to the top of Mt Baldi; well worth the visit.

Accueil chaleureux. Propreté parfaite. Petit déjeuner remarquable.Vue imprenable! Un peu de bruit le matin à cause des freins ou des moteurs ronflant dans la forte pente de la route longeant l'hôtel. Mais avec un tel rapport qualité/prix, on aura du mal à trouver mieux ailleurs! A conseiller sans hésitation!

This "albergo" is a little gem. It's located 200 meters up from the main road, so it is much quieter than we had assumed from the description, plus offers a nice view on the lake. Facilities and rooms are basic, but everything is nicely-maintained and clean, the shower is hot, the beds are good, the balcony is fairly spacious, and the breakfast is ample, with a decent range of choices. Another plus is the near-by supermarket. Last but not least, the people who run this place are very nice and helpful. We'd definitely book there again!
