The worse part was the noice from my first room but I had it changed. The new one was better (101). The beds were not made during the day. The location is very good and the price too. Sincerely M. Kinberg

Good value hotel. Spacious single room with most of the usual facilities. Separate toilet room.Location:-no.61 bus from airport to terminus at railway station. Then 93 bus and alight at second stop.Hotel in Drevene is the street on the south side of the Crowne Plaza. Hotel only a couple of hundred metres or so from the northern entrance of the old town. Hotel bar is defunct - but there are plenty of others nearby if one really needs a last minute nightcap ! Breakfast buffet very ordinary and rather unappetising. Otherwise very good and would stay there again. Two suggestions for future visitors :- Hydrofoil trip up the Danube to Vienna and return by fast train. Also SEGWAY tour of Bratislava and surrounding area is good fun. See brochures.

One light bulb was not working and the hotel could not find replacement. One of the windows was stuck and could not open, the weather was hot on the day and the room was too warm. The hotel staff wanted to help but he couldn't do much about it. The major advantage - the hotel was close to city centre.

This is a very good value hotel, good spacious sized rooms which are clean and just on the perimeter of the old town near the presidential palace. If arriving by plane take the 61 bus from the airport to the train station which is the last stop. From there jump on a 91 and get off when you see the presendential palace facing a large open square with a globe in the centre, maybe 1 or 2 stops. Its a 2 minute walk south from there. Our only criticism is the whimsical opening times of the bar. It is advertised from 10:00 to 22:00 but open and closes when they feel its worthwhile and staff from the adjacent reception appear unwilling to get a resident that late evening drink. The prices are very keen. though. Also, we were a little astonished that some reception staff knew so little about there own capital, like the best way to walk to the castle. No-one mentioned to us it had been closed for renovation for the past 2 years and still has another 6 months or so to go. Only when we climbed to the top was the scaffolding evident. Apart from that you could do Bratislava in a day or two if your thorough. We spent our third day in Vienna, a vastly different experience. Top restaurant tip, try Camouflage. Pricy but excellant in every respect.

This is one of the best rooms and locations I have encountered. However, it would be good if there shower curtains in the bathroom.

As two travellers, we paid an additional €9 for a triple room. The triple room actually turned out to be a top floor two bedroomed appartment with balconies, which we were really pleased with. The hotel is only 2 minutes from the old historic quarter of Bratislava, which is really convenient for a tourist traveller. We were a little disappointed with a few minor things: the water was only warm enough to shower / bath in during the morning as it was luke warm at best during the evening; the mattresses on the beds were foam mattresses rather than sprung mattresses.

The stuff is very very helpful! I arrived in the very early morning(around 7 am) and the lady in the front desk offered me the room right away instead of keeping me waiting until 2 pm. When I asked how to reach the airport, the other lady checked the transportation and the timetable of the bus for me, it was really nice! Besides, the room is spacious, the Wi-Fi is great, and the location is easy to reach. It takes 15 minutes walking from the train station.(or you can take bus 93, 4 minutes) I highly recommend this hotel, the price is economic but the service is wonderful, it is really worthy!

We had a room with at nice balcony. It was very hot and the hotel didn't have aircondition - but the room was equiped with to electric fans, which made it OK. Parking spaces just outside was practical and not very expensive. The breakfast should be skipped - it was poorly presented, and there was a constant lack of plates/glases. When the mug with juice or the basket with bread was empty for instance, it took ages before anyone refilled it. It's a shame, as the hotell would have a full score in service if it were not for the breakfast.

The three bed apartment we found was clean, roomy, modern and well equipped as was the hotel. It was a pity there was no cutlery or crockery to compliment fridge and cooker. Unfortunately there was an issue with the information in the venere.com confirmation email as it stated that checkout time at the hotel was 12:00. At around 10:30 on the last morning of our stay we had the embarrassment of a rude receptionist coming to our room stating that the hotel's policy was a 10am checkout time. This ruined an otherwise enjoyable stay and you should be aware of this when distributing confirmation emails. The rest of the staff were friendly and welcoming.

The hotel is very well located : 15 minute walk from train station, 100 meters fom old town. I had a single room that was very clean and very spacious (toilets separated from bathroom). The breakfast was ok. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall for 55 euro/night it was very good quality. I recommend this hotel to everybody, and I would return.

Hotel nicely located though near old city and nicely refurbished. Rooms spotless Breakfast was very poor. Cutlery not replaced, uncovered ham and cheese, ran out of coffee, plates. Some days better than others but we told them they need to put more effort into the breakfast. Excellent bars/diners nearby with good prices. Very historic city with good transport.

The best thing was excellent location in the hart of the city. It was too hot in the room. I could sleep only with open window. Internet was always available for free at the zero floor. The breakfast was modest, but always included something of hot food.

This hotel is excellently located in the old city and close to shopping, and nightlife. The staff were very helpful and informative. The local amenities are quite good except that there are no municipal swimming pools in the centre of Bratislava. Check out a bar and second hand bookshop called the 'Next Apache' on Panenka street 5 minutes from the hotel. It is quirky and entertaining.
