Hotel Tatra is a modern 4 star business hotel in Bratislava's city centre, close to the Presidential Palace and its famous gardens. Since its inauguration in 1930, the hotel has become the centre of Bratislava's cultural, social and business life. However, the time has come to widen and improve all the services and facilities offered by Hotel Tatra.
Indeed, since December 2008 the property offers 117 brand-new rooms, increasing the hotel's capacity to a total of 203 accommodations, all boasting state-of-the-art amenities that will satisfy the most discerning business and leisure travellers.
As a result of intense refurbishment works, Hotel Tatra now offers a newly rebuilt and extended café & restaurant, as well as a secured private garage. For your business or social events, meeting facilities hosting from 25 to 400 guests are at your disposal.

The finish on the bedroom walls was rough unpainted concrete. Internet access was slow and cumbersome. I booked a single room the size of which was more akin to prison cell or a cabin on a ship. The furniture was basic and cheap Communist era. The location is pretty good and the new areas are up to Western standards but the old part is not. The reception staff were OK but nobody asked or wanted to know how things were for me in the hotel
