Hotel No. 16 is situated in a quiet, tree-lined hillside neighbourhood of Bratislava, within a 10-minute walk from the city centre and the castle. In this luxurious and intimate small hotel, with special familiar atmosphere, full of trees and green surroundings, guests will have the chance to discover the soul of Central Europe.
From the moment you enter Hotel No. 16, which opened opened its doors in 1992, you will be impressed by its lobby featuring beautiful Slovak folk art.
Among the many services offered are also a restaurant, a bar and a wonderful garden.

All of the accommodations are newly renovated with individual decor, wood-beamed ceilings, private bathrooms and original paintings. It was Christmas Day and the Hotel was closed, however, as the booking was done through venere, we were taken in with upgradation from a double bed room to a studio. Extremely tastefully done interior set-up with a warm welcoming. It's worth a stay.

I stayed here for one night and i really enjoyed my stay. The best word i can think to describe this place was cozy. The staff here was exceptionally friendly, and eager to please. I felt very much at home. One note that there is no elevator in the hotel, and thus if you have luggage you will likely need to carry it up the stairs yourself if you are on the 2nd or 3rd floor. (there was no bellboy there to help)

First of all, it was hard to find from the airport. The directions need more detail and clarity. We had to ask at the tourist information desk and were told we would have to get 3 buses to the hotel. With this advice, we found it easily enough. The hotel itself was situated on a quiet street. Although it was badly lit at night, it felt safe. However, no one mentioned the steepness of the hill! I would not recommend this property to anyone with a walking difficulty. The room was clean and the air-conditioning worked wonders. The bathroom was very cramped but clean enough. The staff were courteous rather than friendly. In relation to the old town, it was fine once you became familiar with the map of the area. Bratislava is a beautiful city, well worth spending a night or two. No.16 was fine for a one night stay but I paid more because the misleading photos looked very enticing. I was a little disappointed overall.
